Rome Industries Square Pie Iron Cast Iron

This worked great. It holds a little more than the round one so I think I like this one a little more. We made monkey bread and it turned out great. I recommend not cooking directly in the coals. It worked better resting on a grate right above the coals.

We had a pair of these decades go that were used at bonfires to make “pie iron pizza” or “pie iron pies” (now called hand pies.). I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find some made of real cast iron or made as well, but decided to try these, and was not disappointed. They are as good as the old ones, and we can't wait to give the grandkids a chance to try pie iron pizza!

I purchases one for this cabin this summer to try out over the fire. We made pizza pies and also put pie filling in them and made pie. They were a big hit for everyone. It is such a easy meal for the cabin, camping, or just around a fire at home. I purchased them for Christmas for my Grandchildren because they loved them so much.

A ftiend had 2 and they were better quality than my brand. Cooked better and easier to use. So I got one

This is a great little pie iron. We seasoned it in the fire with just a few swipes of oil and made pies without sticking all night long. Love that it comes apart to serve or if you want to use both sections as small griddles!
