Rome Industries Square Pie Iron Cast Iron

We had a pair of these decades go that were used at bonfires to make “pie iron pizza” or “pie iron pies” (now called hand pies.). I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find some made of real cast iron or made as well, but decided to try these, and was not disappointed. They are as good as the old ones, and we can't wait to give the grandkids a chance to try pie iron pizza!

This worked great. It holds a little more than the round one so I think I like this one a little more. We made monkey bread and it turned out great. I recommend not cooking directly in the coals. It worked better resting on a grate right above the coals.

I purchases one for this cabin this summer to try out over the fire. We made pizza pies and also put pie filling in them and made pie. They were a big hit for everyone. It is such a easy meal for the cabin, camping, or just around a fire at home. I purchased them for Christmas for my Grandchildren because they loved them so much.

A ftiend had 2 and they were better quality than my brand. Cooked better and easier to use. So I got one

I ordered the Roma pie irons and received a different brand. I paid extra for specifically to get the Roma ones and was sent a cheaper one. I gave them as a gift and my fault didn't open the box, just wrapped them up to give. I was shocked when they opened them and they were wrong. I didn't want to make a scene in front of everyone so just let it go. But, needless to say am not happy with this and won't be buying from here again.
