Royal Oak® Super Size™ Charcoal Briquets 16 Lbs

These briquets are a bit on the small side but you can move them around even when they are white and ready to go without them crumbling to pieces. Most briquets turn to dust if you move them when they are ready. These last longer than the large B%26B briquets. B%26B turn to powder if you touch them.

I tried the Royal oak supersize briquettes tonight for the first time and I loved the way they performed they took a little longer to get lit but they held temp very well. The ribeye steak had great flavor and was so tender and juicy. I will definitely be buying these again.

This product is just perfect for me. Nice flavor, easy to ignite, temperature very consistent and also not to high. Long burning not too much ash.

This is actually a really good charcoal that stays lit for a long time. I never tried the big charcoal before, but I think I'm gonna start buying it

Royal Oak charcoal is always a great value and never disappoints. My go-to for the smoker and the grill.

The best fuel there is. Don't use lighter fluid ( never lighter fluid) use tumble weeds or something. Burns clean and burns a long time.

For years we used budget briquets thinking that a briquet is a briquet. After reading the the section on briquets and charcoal in the Jamie Perviance BBQ Cookbook for Eber we realized that what we had been using was filled with binders thus creating a need to use more charcoal. Royal Oak has minimum binders resulting in an excellent flavor, heat and long life. I can usually get two bbq from one load.

I prefer this and B%26B out of as my go to charcoal when using WSM's for multi hour burns. There are many others that are inexpensive, but Royal Oak has been consistant.

First of all I've purchased these briquettes in the past and they where truly King Size! What in the World happened to the size, it was a joke! To tell the truth the size of the briquettes were smaller than the norm. Talk about shrinkish, yep they are the winner.

This is very good charcoal but I do not reccomend having it shipped to your home.My bag had been opened at top ,clear taped back and yet another rip hole,size for a rat to get into beside where it had been previously taped.Rough journey I guess.
