Safe & Healthy UV Light As Seen On TV

I have no idea how to verify that it is actually UV light. But assuming it is, I think its a great idea and also a great gift. When folded its conveniently small enough to fit in a purse or pocket. I have given two as gifts already (to a male and a female) and the recipients both expressed how much they liked/appreciated it.

Although it is quite small and needs to be placed within 2-3 inches of surface it does provide the elimination of bacteria for small areas.

Easy to use. I had to to order 2, the first one didn't work. The light didn't come on. But true to form, Walmart easily replaced it. I like that it beeps when the sanitization is complete. Easy to follow instructions. I didn't swab the area afterward, so I have no way of knowing if it is actually sanitizing. But the ultraviolet light comes on and stays on until you turn it off. This is great for cell phones, work phones or kids toys!

The description is inaccurate, it requires 4 AAA batteries not 2, it's not corded like they have in the summary. I thought it's going to be rechargeable. . It doesn't close tight when you fold it, but overall it's a pretty good uv-c light, can't tell yet if it really does what it should as far as bacteria goes. The $6 price is great though, bought two to keep one at home and another at work. Great for travel too. The size is good and you can keep it standing since it has a wider bottom.

I bought this device because I saw a news story where they were testing a couple of lower priced products for effectiveness in killing germs/bacteria (NOT COVID)

Battery compartment won't close once batteries are put in, light works if I hold the compartment down with my fingers but shouldn't have to do that, returning

flimsy plastic parts. My UV wand never worked. Waste of money
