The chopper is not very sturdy. It would probably be ok if you only chopped super soft vegetables, but the first time I used it, the wires bent and one broke out of the plastic.
I love it!!!!!! I've been using the one that you have to pound down the lid and the steel blades are impossible to clean. This one is very easy to use and twice as easy to clean.
love this chopper. I've only used once to chop onions and it was great. Haven't had a chance to use it again but looking forward to use the other blades.
This isn't a bad chopper, but the size really limits a person on chopping or slicing. It's real nice for strawberries or small foods though. Just cut your fruit or veggies into smaller portions for use with this chopper. The top part that pushes the food down to chop or slice is a challenge to clean cause food gets stuck in the groves and I have to use a toothpick to get it out.
I have had one of these for years and LOVED it. I wanted to get another one because mine was VERY used and just wanted to have a new one. The new one came in and was disappointed because the clasp that holds the chopper shut is defective and it won't lock shut.... I will probably buy another one to replace the new one (I gave my old one to my mom as she had been after it for a while) and just hope that it was THAT one only that was defective.
Bought it to slice cucumbers for pickles. Went fast and easy so long as the larger cucs were cut up smaller. I have arthritis in my hands. Otherwise great. Easy to clean.
It looks and sounds like it would be a dream for arthritic hands but it isn't. It is much smalleŕ then what I had imagined. It is very hard to cut through firm fruits and vegetables.
It's small, 3”x3” good to chop cherry tomatoes or mini carrots, mini vegetables but bigger vegetables you'll need to cut down to 3” sizes
First. I broke a nail trying to use. It works great. I like that its flexible. I can dice onions right in my pot. I dislike cleaning it. Depending on what you cut you may have a hard time cleaning. (Fresh mushrooms)
This is a disappointing item. It's capacity is very small and the blades are not sharp enough for some items. I jammed it up cutting a small potato while trying to use the cube configuration. It's nice in theory, but just doesn't cut it in practice.
