Samsung SSD is perfect for computer upgrades. Their drive copy program that only works with Samsung drives is so much easier than migrating with other methods. Solid choice for migration. I use these EVO Samsung drives exclusively if replacing system drives.

I replaced the original hard drive in my Dell Studio XPS laptop with this SSD It used to take way too long to start up and now everything is much faster. (Unfortunately, neither CPU nor RAM can be easily upgraded.) I also took this opportunity to replace Windows 7 (no longer supported by Microsoft) with a fresh install of Windows 10 and strongly recommend that approach. The only issue with this SSD in my system is that the original hard drive had tabs allowing it to be screwed securely to the chassis. The SSD fits in the slot but it moves around a bit. If I were going to take this laptop out of the house, I would wedge the SSD more securely.

Amazingly fast and stable drive. I cloned my old PCs C-drive to this one and then used this as the new boot drive. WOW, the entire rig booted up in 6 seconds. No issues at all. The system runs more stable than ever.

I needed to update the hard drive in my old laptop. This drive has cut my Windows loading time from 30-45 seconds down to 5 seconds. Simply amazing. Everything loads much faster. I plan to buy more of these drives for the other laptops in my household.

Speeds are always consistent and stay the same no more no less. I dropped it multiple times and it still works so I think it is built quite well and it can definitely take a hit. it's very fast, always hitting max speeds and when I do something it's instantaneous
