[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1 TB of capacity and blazing fast speed was enough to convert my PS4 Pro from a sluggish console to one that keeps up with even NextGen. there has not been one issue with this drive since I started using it .
Cloncked out at 1.7Tb even with 600 Gb unallocated breathing room and optimized. Samsung wizard doesn't recognize it as a samsung product. Once it reaches the 1.7Tb mark, it vanishes. Must close the PC and reopen it to make it apear in which data is corrupt and drive turns from GPT into MBR. Passes surface test but once 1.6 Tb are in, nothing else is writeable. Not even 0.1 mb. Partition wizard sees it as a bad disk. I gave it 4 stars because it is fast before it self destructs and you lose everything only to try again and repeat your previous experience. I returned it after 4 days of trying to pretend it was legit. Hard to beleave? I find it hard to beleave all the 4 stars reviews. I should have made a you tube video...lol!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a massive storage solution that wouldn't slow down under heavy loads, and this 8TB drive delivers flawlessly. It handles massive libraries of high-resolution photos and media seamlessly. It runs cool, quiet, and gives me complete peace of mind for my data backup. Best upgrade ever.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm gonna keep it real—this the first SSD I bought where I instantly felt like I upgraded my whole setup. The Samsung 870 EVO 8TB is DIFFERENT. Like yeah, people talk about speed, but this one actually delivers. My system boots up quick, everything opens fast, and I'm not sitting there waiting on nothing. It's smooth every single time. But the real flex? 8TB. I don't gotta delete games, videos, pics, nothing. I can just download and keep it moving. That alone took so much stress off me. If you got a lot of stuff, you already know how big that is. What surprised me most is it doesn't slow down when you pushing it. I transferred a bunch of big files and it stayed fast the whole time. No drop, no weird lag—just consistent. And honestly, I trust it. Samsung been doing this, and you can tell. It feels solid, not like those cheap drives that got you nervous about losing your stuff. Yeah it's not cheap—but I'd rather pay for something that's gonna last than waste money replacing trash later. “And it feels really durable too, like it's not some cheap drive—it's built to last.” 💯 🥰🥰 This isnt just storage… this is peace of mind. Fast, reliable, and more space than you'll know what to do with. If you serious about your setup, this is the one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] assembled my gaming PC about two years ago and all storage in it are all samsung m2's and ssd's. Still going strong, reliable and fast. no problems whatsoever, and the software is great, updates are seamless. been a fan of Samsung products since the 2000s.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first of two I had bought and this one is still just as good as the first day I got it as well as just as good at performance as the newest one that is significantly newer the speed compares to NVMe in some cases and they support the direct memory access and direct storage with GPU using DirectX 12 and Xbox app
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this drive to speed my laptop up. This performed better than I ever dreamed it would. Just the boot up time alone is shocking! I have the 250 GB 870 Evo. I love it to the point that I'll never run a laptop or PC without a portable SSD. It's memory capacity is more than I need. I can edit videos and save them to this drive without effecting my laptops memory or speed. This is the most reliable drive I've gotten. I went through a few other brands like an idiot before discovering this Samsung drive. Which is odd, because my laptop is the Samsung Book 5 Pro. Do the ecosystem is very reliable and they talk to eachother really well. It's trustworthy and easy. Its also thin, mobile, and durable. I can take it everywhere with me, and it takes a beating. But it never fails or let's me down. You Can't go wrong with Samsung ever!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this product so much because it had enough capacity to hold all my stuff and it good durability and great performance for holding my stuff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually my second 870 EVO, and I went back to it because it’s just so reliable. It runs completely silent and keeps everything moving fast, which is a huge relief if you’re used to older, noisy drives. Even in a warm room or a tight space without much airflow, it stays cool and doesn't slow down when things get busy. It’s also built to last for years of heavy daily use, with a massive amount of storage capacity that makes it perfect for saving everything without worrying about space. It’s a solid, tough piece of tech that stays quiet and dependable no matter how hard you work it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 870 EVO 250GB is an absolute workhorse. This SSD is currently one of my daily drivers on my second rig, as I typically run two systems at a time to maximize my workflow. Even with constant use, the speeds remain incredibly stable and reliable. It handles everything I throw at it, from OS tasks to storing the heavy creative projects I’ve been working on using Galaxy AI features. Having a drive this dependable makes a world of difference when you're jumping between machines all day. If you’re looking for a solid, high-performance 2.5" drive for a multi-PC setup, you can't beat Samsung’s reliability. 5 stars!
