Reinforced product with high level protection
This product is different from most hinge locks. It does not let the door to open. If you compare to chain lock or hinge lock, intruders may (even thought difficult) cut your chain/bar from outside, if they have good tools. This product, however, leaves no gap for the door to open. Therefore, once closed, there is no way to break it, unless they break the whole door.

Unbreakable lock
I have 3 of these in my house. They are the best security lock that I have found. Even if someone unpicks your house lock these things don't budge. They also require close to adult strength to engage the lock so it's not possible to accidentally engage the lock while you are out of a room or have a child lock themselves into a room. I do recommend putting it closer to the top part of the door when you install just so that strong children can't do the lock on their own and lock you out.

Excellent lock. It is very easy to install with just a 3 inch screws. When engaged it holds the door from being jarred and the extra level of security to hinder from being kicked in. Great price and quality.

Slow the crook down !
I think it provides a little more security ! It probably won't stop an intruder ; but it will provide a little time to call 911 and get my gun so I can properly great the new guest !! 😏
