Sauder Palladia 3-Shelf Bookcase, Vintage Oak Finish

Although these are a considerable amount of work to assemble, the instructions are very clear and concise. the finished product is beautiful, We couldn't be happier.

Paid a handyman to put them together. They look like quality furniture. I was pleasantly surprised. Will be using the open shelves for knickknacks and the closed shelves to hide odd and ends.

The bookcase is beautifully designed and I love the Glacier Oak finish contrasted with the black open shelf. It is perfect for my new office and just the right size. It took 2 of us to put it together and the directions were very clear and well written. It is as sturdy as it it beautiful!

I purchased this bookshelf for part of my home office. I also have the L shaped desk from the Palladia collection. They both look fantastic! The bookshelf was delivered by Fed Ex and came without any broken pieces. Build took about an hour and the instructions were easy to follow. The shelf seems very sturdy. Weighs about 100 pounds by itself. I can't wait for the TV Stand and Side Table to come back in stock so I can complete my office collection. I am very pleased with the quality and value of these Sauder products.

I put this together alone in about 2. 5 hours. Im not the handiest person but the instructions were very simple with easy to understand illustrations. The bookcase looks much more expensive than I anticipated. It has a nice weight that feels secure and compares in quality to a similar piece I was almost willing to pay 4x as much for.

I bought this because it matches a desk that I bought second-hand. Although it was a little confusing to put together, in the end it is a nice-looking unit. A couple of the pieces were not labelled which extended the time it took to put this together. I really like it as it is 'rich' looking and functions well.

I like the color/finish coordination with the desk and file cabinet. Needs to be at least 4" deeper for legal size paper like most other bookcases. Doors don't completely close due to this.

Bought a set of the book cases to place side by side in our home office. They look great but there was some damage (including a dent) from shipping issues. It took about 3.5 hours to put together both book cases. My husband and I did it together but it could be done alone. MOST of the pieces are labeled but several were not so that sort of slows down the assembly process.

I suppose for the price, I should have suspected this, but the materials are cheaper than expected and some parts didn't fit quite right.
