Many parts 94panels over 400 fasters- patience required-rec all all parts—no damage —instructions good need to read slowly and if ? Look at pictures— took me 14 hrs I broke 1 slide and lost the bearings called mfg sent they sent me 2 —- to me all parts+none broken + good instructions + 14 hrs and little patience = 5star rating Bob C

The price was great for this desk as far as an executive desk appearance. The top finish Has a nice texture like unfinished wood. Sturdy and well made pieces. This desk took at least 4hours for one person to assemble and needed 2 people for a few of the tasks. There are a ton of screws that are in very tight corners so ensure you have a long Philips driver. The drawers are nicely made but do not slide super smooth because they are tight. Highly recommend for an inexpensive nice looking desk that is solid and made well.

Took a while to put it together. But it was worth it. Had some minor damage from the delivery. However a phone call to the manufacturer they will replace the damaged parts.

This is a really nice desk for the price. Looks beautiful. Has an enormous surface. Lots of drawer space, esp. if you don't use the top center drawer for your keyboard. (The desk's height and surface size makes having the keyboard on top work great.) The desk is solid and sturdy once together. The hidden electrics compartment and cable management mean no spaghetti behind the desk. I'm very, very happy with my purchase, as you can see from my ratings. Putting it together took a long time, but I went slowly and carefully, after reading the instructions in full and sorting out all the hardware. There were a couple of cases where things weren't entirely obvious, but with a little thought, it was easy to figure out. No real problems. I ended up missing a piece, but ordered it for NO cost or hassle (just need model and part numbers) from Sauder.com and it came in 2 days. In my case, it was just a decorative molding so it didn't slow me down from finishing the desk. One recommendation: use an electric screwdriver. The instructions say not to, but if you're careful, it will work and speed things up considerably (there are a LOT of screws! :-) Just go slow and don't over tighten. And you should use a manual screwdriver for some connectors (like the cams and t-locks). But I did not use an electric drill until near the end and boy do my hands wish I had. The box is HEAVY (i.e., one person cannot move it.) So I'm glad I paid to have it delivered, though fair warning, they will only bring it to the door, at least in my case. It should probably be delivered in at least two boxes, but it's heavy because it's solid and well-made in the USA! I also bought the console that goes with it (see Related Products, and my review of that product.) They match perfectly and look great together. Together they make a very classy, professional impression. Highly recommend!

It's definitely true you need either be super super handy or hire someone I did the second , so no pain or fights with hubby The desk looks great I love it , but the some drawers don't slide easy or aren't aligned, minor stuff but the reason it is not perfect.

it areived with damage to box and once outside box there were to dings on the top desk part. we paid to have it assembled because a family member has the same one and it took him over 8 hours to assemble. the contractor that came out said they were only giving him 1.5 hours for assembly and said this should've been a 2-person job . i ended up paying him extra cash. operationally, it works fine.

Beautiful desk but box was damaged so part of the bottom corner was roughed up.

I purchased this along with the matching credenza and hutch. Overall satisified with my purchase. The product was ordered on line and delivered to the store in a timely manner. Well packaged and no damage to the items. The box for this desk is extremely heavy - took 4 people to unload. When your order is confirmed the email tells you the dimensions of the packaging and weight so I knew it would fit easily in the back of my truck. Assembly is not simple, but if you're handy and can follow instructions and work through it methodically, it takes about 5-6 hours to assemble. You must follow each step and make sure you use the right screws. Unfortunately the screws and some of the hardware come mixed together so it took me about 30 minutes to just organize all the screws etc by size (highly recommended). There were no missing parts with all three sets and you get exactly the amount of screws and hardware you need. It feels solid and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The only down side is the finish can easily scratch or get nicked so not recommended for heavy duty usage. It also means you need to be incredibly careful while assembling. I recommend assembling on a carpeted area. I've had the set assembled for just under a week and am very satisifed!

This desk was beautiful once it was put together. When the box came, I was very nervous by how heavy it was, 2-3 strong men to lift. My husband and I could not carry this into my office so we had to open the box outside and take in by the armload of pieces. His question to me was.... did they say it'll be 2000 pieces and you said no please give me 3! Once it's put together it is very impressive and a very good deal, but if they offered assembly this would be one to take it on! Overal very happy with the desk, now that the "process" is over.

I've done woodwork all my life and consider myself to be a craftsman. I struggled through a side to "make" it fit, seems like their CNC machine was tilted. It finally went all together, with a few lines not lining up. The Masonite plinths were not drilled correctly and it took extra measures to re-drill. More re-drilling on the front base blocks which was not big deal but you wonder if you're doing something wrong because the holes don't line up, I tried every combination, there were (4) of them. THEN.....after hours of assemble its time to turn it over to the top. See Picture There should be a "CAUTION" No Counter sinking screws. This is my wrong doing but a Caution would have been nice!
