Very handy. I bought this for my daughter's car at college. It sits for long stretches of time in the storage parking lot with no electricity for a regular battery charger. Her car starts every time she needs it.
Uesd for maintaining the battery on my welder/generator that powers my house when power outages occur. 20 volts and 4.8 amps output measured on a sunney day.
Bought this for my ATV, keeps the battery charged up. I mounted it to the outside wall of my pole barn and plug it in to my ATV electrical hook up. Never worry about a dead or overcharged battery again.
well made and very useful for keeping boat batteries charged during the off season.
Keeps the battery charged on my camper and keeps it from freezing.
I can't give a good review yet . Haven't had any nice sunny days due to the weather . But every time I check the battery level it read 12.1 volts . So I think it's working .
I bought mine hoping to keep the battery charged and my pickup unfortunately it doesn't work so good with a diesel it may be the fact that there's two batteries so it can't put out enough charge otherwise it's a excellent by and I would suggest it to anyone with a car or a gas vehicle.
Would be nice if it had some sort of working indicator and overcharge protection but it does work when checked with a multimeter.
i found the 1.5 solar charger could not charge my trucks with ECM units on them. the 2.4 watts do a good job they keep the voltage up around 12.40 volts thanks
I bought this to keep my battery charged on my truck that I don't drive very much. I have only driven it twice since I bought it and it cranked both times. I plug it into the cigarette lighter plug inside the truck. There is nothing to show that it is working. It needs a light that shows it is working. Only time will tell. That's why I only gave it three stars.
