This is an old school manual charger. It must be monitored. It has exceeded my expectations so far by recharging 12v batteries that other smart chargers would not charge. Be careful if you are not careful you can damage your battery. This charger is capable of overheating a battery in under 5 minutes at its highest setting. Monitor battery temperature and where eye protection. Only operate in a well ventilated area.

Thanks for the charger. great product! I highly recommend this charger to anybody charging 12 volt batteries deep cycle batteries AGM batteries regular batteries

Charger is exactly what I needed to replace my existing aging charger. By trade I'm a mechanic and this unit holds its own. Highly recommended.

poor quality and customer service
I've only had this charger since late March, 1st the timer stopped, now the amp setting will not turn, tried contacting Schumacher about warranty replacement for 2 weeks now and every time it says someone will get back to me within 24-48 and still nothing.
