Very good if you keep lots of game downloaded on your devices, works really good on my gaming laptop that doesn't have much storage although it does run the games installed onto it a bit slower. But it runs RDR 2 Smoothly And GTA5 Smoothly just keep it clean and don't let it get clogged with files to maintain good speed

This product for the price-point is worth it's quality. The advertised Terabyte capacity, as many who understand that when hard drive space is formatted some available space is lost isn't off by too much. I purchased this product as extended storage for my Playstation 4. The device was immediately recognized and was able to be formatted in a matter of minutes. The remaining space was appx 920 GB and the slim design does not take up much space (about the size of a pocket Bible). The cord included is long enough you potentially do not have to set the device on top of the Unit it is being connected to but on a nearby platform. Highly recommend.

Was easy to use with microsoft software on my computer to back it up. 1 TB was plenty of space for my personal computer; only took up 1/3 of the disk space. Only negative is I had to do some research to make sure it was working because the light on the drive does not flash while it it backing up data; it stays on continuously.

I have used these before, so I know they are quality. However, I had been hoping it would arrive more quickly than it did, but then again I'm used to Amazon's (unreasonably) fast shipping.

why 4 stars and not 5? Trying to register the item for the warranty was ridiculous. Their email responses were lazy whereby rather than forward my info to the correct area, they chose to put the burden on me to do so. I guess Western Digital is related to Sandisk... how would a buyer know that? It was confusing. Their system did not recognize the model %23 which is why I had to contact them. It must have taken them over a week to finally correct it. So the item has been great, but their service certainly was not.

This is not as user friendly as advertised. Per the quick set up guide, I should have had my pc backed up by now. I am still reading the full manual trying to figure it out.

I like to play Sims 4 with Mods and CC so I decided to purchase this so i can have extra storage. It now makes my game load forever. I do not recommend getting this if you play the Sims 4.
