I bought this for my husband. I bought the black ops 4 for him for Christmas and then I realized his storage was maxed out. It was easy to transfer all his games to it and even mine. You have to select at setup if you want it to expand storage or data. I chose storage. Plenty of space to save games to. Data saves to his console and all games are on this device.
Super easy to install. I was a little scared when I went to move games over to the hard drive because it listed 3.? Tb with only 5 games to transfer over, but I soon found out the 3.? Referred to what was left on the external hard drive. Lol. I soon after checked and saw only mb in game memory transferred over so I have plenty of room. I bought the 4tb to assure I had space with the way these games chew up memory. This hd should hold almost 50 games now, yay! Easy set up , just plug n follow prompt to ready up the drive and in minutes, the PS4 had set up to take on new games automatically (unless you want it changed, but what's the point) onto the hd and all set to play. I wish it didn't take up a front USB port but that's ok. Worth it!! My kids r happy and I have 3 and another on the way.. so I'm good now :)
it is flawless and has not fail me yet. I transferred most of the game to it because I don't have enough space in my original PS4. I read some of the reviews that said it stopped working in 3 months, 6 months, 8 months... that gives me an idea on how best to take care of it by not dropping, etc., and increase their lifespan.
Go to Youtube to learn how to setup your new hard drive, its easy. Solid state is fast and loads fast. Way faster than a PS 4, MAYBE the newer ones have solid state drives I talking about PS 5 or a newer PS 4? When you look for one make sure its made for what your using. This one is made for PS4 and works fine.
Great external storage, connected right up to ps4 and worked perfectly!! My daughter did it real quick with no issues!! No issues at all transferring games either!!! Great price and product!!
[Employee of walmartcanada] Easy to use, and 4TB will last a very long time. I transferred all my photos and videos onto the storage and it was only a fraction of available space
Perfect. Works as intended for my ps4. Holds a lot of storage. I like the weight it has to it. affordable. Love it!
I've had a few issues with this so far, nothing that is game changing but annoying none the less. For one, a lot of times when I turn on the PS5, it says that the drive is corrupted and needs to be fixed… which it does and then it restarts and things continue as normal. And it does that quite often!!
we love what we got but we are upset how are you guys delivered our package you didnt even put it at our front door or ring the doorbell. Something that I spent over $100, I wouldve at least expect you guys to ring our doorbell and put it at our door not our walkway.
It was not compliable or a completely different item from what I ordered. I've already returned it. I am waiting on a refund.
