Seagate Game Drive for PS5 5TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive Officially Licensed (STLV5000301)

It great for storing your PlayStation games on it but the only games that can be played from it are PS4 games you can store PS5 games on the drive but you’ll have to transfer the games back to the console to be able to play them with that being said I would wait for a sale before picking it up because the retail price seems to be a bit high for what your getting

The main thing you have to know about this product is that to use it you have to go to your storage settings in go to games and apps and select the items to move over for PlayStation 5 games PlayStation 4 games can go directly to it but PlayStation 5 games have to be moved from your console storage data to the Seagate external hard drive so it's a little complicated on how to use it but once you get it and understand it it's super easy and it is well worth the money I have over 60 games download it to my hard drive and external hard drive combined and I play more than off more often a few of them and I need to switch back and forth and that's why I won't have to download the entire thing over again and waste hours of my time doing so instead of just spending 15 to 20 30 minutes tops to move it back over to my console for use

I have a PS4 and a PS5, I’m playing the PS4 till I can’t use it any longer and I had an idea to start fixing it so I have ordered new parts for it and everything so imma make it the best running PS4 in 2025

It works for Ps4 games only. I thought by the title you could download Ps5 games too.

I like the fact that it holds the games!! what I didn't like was the fact that you have to keep deleting and uploading the games back and forth instead of playing them directly from the hard drive!! I spent more time waiting for the game to either transfer to the hard drive or download to my system rather than actually playing my game!! I figured by the hard drive being connected to the game system, you could play straight from the hard drive!! but I was wrong!! I should have just invested in the internal hard drive instead😞😞

It says that it is for ps5 games but when you hook it up it says only ps4 games can be stored on it! The only reason I bought it was to put ps5 games on it so I would have more space available on my system! So the description is a lie!! Don't buy unless you intend to only put ps4 games on it! Waste of money for my case!

The product states it's for PS4 AND PS5, but cannot download or save PS5 games from my PS5 onto this external storage. I bought this because it said it was PS5 compatible..

It is not the main model number itself. It was switch out do not buy!!!!

product says you can use this with ps5. but actually it doesn't hold ps5 downloads, it only holds ps4 games and yes you can "plug it into a ps5" therefore making it "comparable" with ps5. I hope I worded that correctly. my sons tried to explain it to me. it was purchased for them for Christmas present and they were both so sad since it wasn't "usable " for them.
