Couldn't do with out this thing :)

Ken April 17, 2020

I use this to save money I purchase larger packages of hamburger,chicken.....ect then divide when I get home and use the seal a meal to repackage. I see that when I do this, there is no "freezer burn" and I enjoy putting marinades in with the chicken and steak before I freeze. The money I have saved has already paid for this purchase.

Good purchase

Robert September 7, 2020

Only bagged 3 things so far .works great ,delivery was early ,app worked great. For me it worked better to buy a paprika cutter at wall mart also ,straight cuts save you some head aches and time. Machine works great with straight cuts. Definitely takes all air out of bag seals tight. Works from smaller sizes To the gallon sizes

The Seal-a-Meal

ByronH July 23, 2016

Oh my goodness...Got this for my wife as a gift she's been wanting for a long time. As soon as she got it, she started sealing everything! She likes the rolls rather than the bags. The rolls allow you to customize the size of bags, rather than gallon or quart size. It's a little noisy, so be prepared. It works really well and with it being a big name brand that's been around for years, it's proven to be really reliable. Everyone should have one!!

Inexpensive iterm, works great!

01Bravo April 11, 2016

Other feedbacks mentioned not vacuuming out all the air, or not sealing fully. Maybe they had a defect, or maybe the bag was not inserted properly. Since receiving my unit, I have sealed 4 bags of ground beef, 2 bags of chops, 3 bags of steaks and some sausages. All of these were done in one sitting, with no issues of overheating or machine malfunction. This unit is a replacement for a larger (and older) Seal A Meal vacuum unit, and I never had issues with the older one. This one will vacuum and seal a bag of ground beef in about 10-12 seconds. For a smaller unit, can't ask for much more!

Real purchaser, great product, buy it.

This little machine is great! It is easy to use and does just as advertised. I use the rolls to make bags. Just put the end in the machine over the drip tray, close and press down on the lid on both sides until the green light comes on. At that point it's all automatic. The red light comes on when it's sealing and goes off when finished. I leave that end in the machine until I cut the roll to the length bag I need then remove, fill and seal the other end. If it doesn't seal the first time you have to reposition your bag or turn it over. Look for folds. I smoked a big rack of ribs for the wife and I, cut them up and put 4 ribs in each bag and sealed now when we want ribs we pull them from the freezer, thaw, warm and eat. Cooked and cut up chicken sealed and frozen, vegetables, pork chops, ground meat, you can even seal up ammo for long time storage. Anything you want to keep that you don't want air or water to get on. The best part is this machine is small and relatively inexpensive. I read a few reviews from people who had some problems so I purchased the product warranty from Walmart which is also inexpensive, however, I think most of their problems were not following instructions correctly. CUT YOUR BAGS STRAIGHT. Love this thing would purchase it again.

Seal a Meal the oldest the best

lpack August 24, 2016

I love the Seal a Meal product - my last one I had for over 7 years and we use a lot . I have had the more popular brand now a days and went through 4 within 2 years prior. For the price I believe these are far superior and are built to last wish they were available in the stores but online works just as well with direct ship to the store - I would buy no other brand

Just what I wanted

Knitgrandma August 23, 2014

After trolling the internet and reading reviews of different vacuum sealers, I chose this one based on a review from a guy in Alaska. I figured it must be a good product if that guy recommended it with as much as those people put up to get thru a winter. Easy to operate and simple. The only small problem I had was getting enough pressure on the device to properly activate it. I am short, my counters are too tall, so I use a step stool and everything is fine.

Meets Expectations

Cipher1300 October 21, 2014

It is what it is...a $29 vacuum sealer. Don't expect more and you won't be disappointed. It is strictly for light duty use in a home. It is very finicky as to bag placement when you try to seal it but once you get the hang of it you'll do fine. It is also imperative that if you buy a roll of bags that you cut them perfectly straight or they won't seal.

Poor customer service at Ebensburg PA Walmart

Lynne August 20, 2026

Didn't seal or vacuum. Returned to store. Didn't receive the full amount I paid because I couldn't retrieve the order number. Customer Service wouldn't help me find it either. So I'm out nearly $25. Got a gift card for a fraction of what I paid. I don't intend to use it!

Seal-a-Meal

Robin December 22, 2016

Cheap, poorly made, very loud, vacuum option took a very long time. Would not recommend to anyone Also, packing from Walmart was horrible--no bubble wrap in mailing box which was 3 times the size of the product, so product was bounced around during shipping. Very poor quality-control.
