Seneca Foods Libbys Shellie Beans, 14.5 oz

I use to buy large cans of shellies %26 green beans at Walmart. They were distributed by a very popular brand %26 all the sudden I couldn't find them anymore! I even called the company to ask where I could find them to purchase %26 I was told they had been discontinued! NOOOOO! We tried every different brands of green beans %26 none of them would compare to the ones we had become to love to eat over the years! We just didn't like any of them! You see, I was raised on Blue Ribbon green beans out of the garden. If you've never had them, you have missed out on some really good green beans!! After my Daddy got older, he didn't put out a garden. Sad, but understandable. We had a neighbor/friend that would grow them %26 we'd buy from him. My Momma %26 I would break, wash %26 if she didn't can them, we would freeze them! It was very hard work %26 that was years ago! After the homegrown green beans were gone, I had to get creative for my family to have what tasted like those green beans like Momma use to make! I came up with what my family thought tasted just like Blue Ribbon green beans out of the garden! I worked with them %26 added in here %26 there, simple things but they ended up they were really good!

I have loved Shellie Beans for more than 50 years. Fresh are best, but these do just fine! I cook 4 cans together with a little Onion Salt, Country Crock, Salt and Pepper and Yum! Reheated for several days just makes them even better!

Libby for me are hard to find I was surprised but thankful that I was able to get them here and have them delivered. Our family loves this brand and they taste just as I remember

I love shellie beans and have been eating them since I was a child. I like to put them in the crock pot with ham and potatoes. Very nice.

My mom always cook these when i was kid we love green beans and shellie beans too with potatoes in the same pot and smoked sausage 😋 yummy.

I would recommend this item; however, the company has stopped making them. They were my favorite green bean.

Product not available in south Texas HEB and Commissary stores. We stock up when we're back in Indiana. Shellie beans have always been a favorite.

I was not that impressed with them

l only got 11 cans. ordered 12. 8 of the 11 cans were bent. No packing in shipping box. Very disappointing.
