I've had the same camera for six months and love it. If you're going to drive anywhere anymore, you need this! The one suggestion is that you should buy 2 32gig SD cards, so you don't need to download it every night if you're driving long distance. I bought 2 to give to my brothers out in CA for Christmas.
i bought this for my oldest son to put in his vehicle. he loves it. says its a really clear picture and takes good photos as well! a good purchase!!

Finally found one where I didnt have to reinvent the wheel.
Worked great for the first few months. Till one day it didn't. Plugged it into the car charger yesterday and it wouldn't come on at all. Then I smelled a really bad electrical burn smell. Felt of the body of the camera. It was extremely hot at the battery compartment like it was going to catch fire. Haven't been able to get it to come on since.
I cant pull memory off the sd card. my computer doesn't recognize the dash cam and when I put the sd card into something else to read it says no permission to view.
CONSTANTLY ROATES whichever way it wants!!! CHARGER FALL OUT going over bumps in road!! WONT STAY CHARGED!! Also you have to purchase your own sd card.. money better spend on another.
I had it for two years. I have been unsatisfied with this item, I tried to return it a month later after purchasing it but the store did not accept the return. Once in a while The camera doesn't read the sd card, I have to pull out the card put it back in like 4 times in order for the camera to read the card. The camera keeps falling off the windshield after a while and not reading the sd card is a frustrating situation. Finally I decided to replace this camera. I do not recommend it and should be discontinued off the market
purchased 2 both right out of the box will only record 3 min worth of video before only recording sound for the next 2 min worth of 5 min video
