I have used this oil before and have been really pleased with it. In my opinion, it compares well with most if not all high end brand names. After many miles of use, the oil remains fairly clear and clean when checking the level on dipstick. It does not appear to be too thin after many miles, nor does it seem to full of sludge like most common oils seems to do. I have seen questions related it’s use in gasoline engines. I can’t answer this question, but I can recommend not using it in a gasoline engine because right on the container it reads, DIESEL. Some people have also said it is safe to use in small engines such as lawnmowers and etc., but then again, GASOLINE. Personally, I would not use it in any gasoline engine unless the manufacturer stated it was safe. I have a compact tractor that is Diesel, and it works nicely. Cost is less than the Tractor recommended oil and is Synthetic to boot. As far as my own experience, I would recommend this oil for your Diesel engine. Just make sure the viscosity matches your engine specifications. I hope this review helps someone with a purchase decision.
Well what can I say about Shell's Rotella T5 oil? We have synthetic oil in our car and truck and highly recommend to everyone to change over if they can. You don't have to change your oil as often and your vehicle will love you for giving it synthetic oil. Our vehicles run so much nicer with the synthetic oil in them. Our truck use to rattle when you first started it up until the oil got into the lifters to quiet them down. Now we no longer have that problem. No more lifter noise now that we have Shell's Rotella T5 Synthetic blend motor oil in it. We are in the process of changing our motorhome over and putting it in our riding mowers as well.
Small Diesels commonly in compact tractor taking 10W30 weight DIESEL rated oil is not easy to find. Here it is SYTHETIC BLEND to boot rated for DIESEL Engines at a great price...
2002 Jeep Cherokee Cherokee WJ 4.0l one of the best oils for that motor.
Price came down a bit..always a plus to pay less!
Oil soaked box on arrival, no puncture to the box, decided to take a chance and excepted delivery, opened and all three gallons were full, must have absorbed from another box, if the box was damaged I would have refused
I believe all oil is over priced based on the market availability.
Oil is exactly what I ordered and arrived on time. Problem came when I arrived at home to a box leaking oil on the front porch. Jugs should be wrapped in individual bags to prevent leaks and then packaged in box tightly not allowing them to flip around during shipping
This is my first order with Walmart and they messed up. The problem was not with the product it was with Walmart. It was supposed to arrive on the 06/30/20 and did not arrive until 07/03/20 and the FedEx delivery said I wasnt home even though I was standing outside at the time waiting for them. Im going out of town so I can not wait until Monday I had to refund everything
I've always bought my oil through a different vendor and it's never leaked before. I recently purchased several/12 gal. through y'all and every one of them are leaking everywhere causing a horrible mess and also losing product which is overpriced in the first place.
