Rotella T6 is my go-to oil for motorcycles and heavy diesels, and while it's a bit pricier than other oils, I've never had an engine failure in either of those classes of vehicles. I tend to stick with what works for me. Excellent product.
Great stuff, I started putting this in my 05 dodge ram 2500 since the first oil change after purchasing it used. Usually I run this for about 8k miles with a second oil filter change around 4k miles and no problems. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent product for their engine, if it's compatible.
Its T6. The best value for Diesel Oil available in a synthetic. I use in the 7.3's High pressure oil system and have not had any issues. Starting seems to be slightly better etc, but that could be due to the fuel filter change as well. Extremely satisfied as is most with T6.
I've been using this oil for my 2500 diesel truck for the last four years and I put 4 to 6000 miles between oil changes and the used oil looks like the same color when I put it in new. Full synthetic. 15W 40 Rotella. I use oil filters for synthetic oil . Keeps truck working great !
Many years ago, and old farmer told me about a test that an oil distributor ran on his farm using synthetic oil in one harvester and conventional oil in another. It proved to him that synthetic oil was better by far. I switched my Ford 7.3 liter diesel to this Rotella T6 at my next oi change and have used nothing but this ever since. That Ford is pushing 400,000 miles now and still going strong.
Yes, maybe there's a better oil out there, but for the price and quality, T6 is an amazing product, and Walmart is the best price around for this awesome product. I have over 300,000 miles in my truck, and I will keep working with gas worked so far.
Used this for the first oil change on my brand new Kubota L4060 after the break in period lapsed. Tractor seems to love it so far. It even quieted down a perfectly running brand new engine a bit, enough that it was noticeably different from when I was warming up the engine for the service. The old oil only had 50 hours on it too and wasn't even fully black. Walmart consistently has the best prices on oil in my area and I will definitely purchase again from them. I've already picked up another 3 1/2 gallons to do my first oil change on my new (to me) 2004 Excursion Limited with the 6.0 Powerstroke. Excited to see how that truck likes some nice clean Rotella T6, with some HSS Stiction Eliminator sprinkled in (also bought for the best price through Walmart). The only thing that could make my experience better would be for Walmart to carry genuine Motorcraft oil and fuel filters. The reviews on them didn't inspire any confidence that I would be getting genuine parts so I had to go to my favorite big box auto parts store to make sure I got the real deal. I know it would be a pipe dream to expect them to carry OEM Kubota filters but one can dream, can he not?
It's a product I've been using so I know what the price usually is and quality is by shell, not walmart.
I don't know why but some moron decided to puncture the seal on all three of these bottles of oil so they leaked all over in my car and my floor at home before I realized where it was coming from.
Hello, I recently placed an order for two 1-gallon containers of oil, but instead I received two 2.5-gallon containers without any prior notice or my approval. I would like to understand why this change was made without my consent and why I was charged for a product I did not specifically order. Additionally, one of the containers is leaking, which raises serious concerns about product handling and quality control. I find this approach to be unacceptable and unprofessional, and it appears as if customers are being misled and left with no proper resolution. This is not the kind of service I expected, and I consider this to be a serious issue with your company's policies and customer care. I kindly request that you address this matter promptly and let me know how you intend to resolve it. Thank you.
