This stool is perfect for me! I have COPD and find it difficult to stand in the shower for too long. So I just put this in the tub/shower and with my oxygen on, sit down with my back to the faucet, lean my head back to wet my hair, shampoo, then rinse my hair. I then soap up my body and slowly spin around rinse everything off! Makes showering so much easier!
My arm movements were restricted after surgery, and I needed a seat that allowed me to wash from head to toes, safely. Perfect solution. Legs are adjustable , but very firm, rubber feet don't slide, no slipping off seat, can move side to side, or fully turn, yet, I feel so safe when I shower, I highly recommend this chair !!
I bought this chair because I have a narrow shower tub stall and the dimensions of the product seemed to fit my needs. After receiving the chair it was easy to assemble and very stable, and true to the dimensions it is a perfect fit. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
Works great in my 26" rough opening small shower for long knees and 5'8" 300 lb obese lady
The stool is reasonably sturdy and assembly was almost easy. A couple of the screws didn't quite fit (they took some persuasion). The design will make keeping this bath stool clean easy; there are only 5 large screws with easy-to-grasp handles (and 5 washers) that can be removed and replaced quickly to allow for thorough scrubbing. The width of the stool will allow use in even the smallest of shower stalls, but also means it could tip more easily than some other models.
It may swivel when no one is sitting on it, but it doesn't when I sit on it. I don't weigh much at all at all for my height. I ordered it to use in my shower after my knee replacement next months.
You get what you pay for. Hopefully it holds up for awhile. Flimsy, wobbly and using "swivel" as a selling point is disingenuous at best. No way this little plastic plate swivels with a full-sized adult sitting on it. I tefuse to believe it. Swivels fine with no weight on it. But I doubt anyone over 100lbs will ever swivel on it.
not steady on uneven shower floor
Very small and short even at the tallest. Spin top doesnt move unless your under 60 lbs. Good for child or garage.
