I dislike this particular herb by this supplier because it has a strange rancid smell and taste different from other suppliers of the same herb

Beware real sweet basil users... maybe the bottles contents vary but the one I received was NOT the variety 'sweet' basil. It says sweet basil in the description but not on the bottle. Strong licorice aroma, most likely THAI basil (maaaaybe a MIX but it's strong licorice scent), not lovely, delicious real sweet basil. Not bad quality, just inaccurate description and so disappointed wasn't delicious sweet basil....I am NOT a fan of thai basil.

Horrible quality
Simply Organic Basil - I have used Simply Organic Basil for years. Normally, the best Basil I have used, until the last two orders from Walmart. The product was hard, course, dried out and bleached in color. It had little aroma and was clearly aged or heat damaged or both. Shame on Walmart for sending these.
