SKIL 7- 1/4 inch Corded Circular Saw 13 Amp with Spindle Lock and Integrated Dust Blower 5080-01

It's a perfect little saw for home use. Obviously not for doing large contractor jobs, but as a woman maintaining a 200yo farmhouse, I found this to be the perfect size and weight and it feels sturdy and well made, not something that'll break on me in a year.

For the price, this little saw can't be beat. Works well, cuts well. This is a general use, light duty saw and really no more. I wouldn't want to use it on a construction site but for general homeowner use, its perfect

Powerful enough for everything I need to do with it, lighter than the same model that I had from around 2006

this is a great buy for use around the house for projects and occasional use. i actually remodeled an entire small home using this model. i like that it includes a blade.

I was looking for an electric circular saw at a low price point to cut up small lumber (2 X 4), for projects around the house. This fit the bill. It was not bought for every day use and major construction projects. I have used it to cut up a few boards and it works well and has good power. The saw has a safety trigger button, and a locking button to hold the blade in place for replacement. Overall it is easy to use and not too heavy. I did not use the blade that came with it, as I had another.

If you're looking for a circular saw to cut matchsticks, this is the one. Anything thicker will be a struggle with this toy. It has no chance of ever cutting through a 2x4 without getting hung up several times and having to be backed up to free the blade. I wound up getting out my old circular saw that is all beat up and using it instead. It had no problem cutting through the same lumber.

It was delivered w/an instruction manual, the bolt holding the blade was o tight, I could to turn it to place the blade. I had to do some repairs had instead to arrange a return. There is nobody to talk to...what is in good for weh I cannot install/place the blade in the cradle...the instruction oppressed on the bolt, says do not tighten to much...however, it cannot be loosened...

shaft that blade attaches to has movement sideways. tried to use one time . very, very poor quality. returning item.

I don't like the fact that I can not get Walmart to deliver my items where I asked for them to be left……I'm legally blind and ask for items to be left either on front porch or back and they don't seam to get it……
