This is the nicest lawn mower I've ever owned. The features are well thought out, from a spring-loaded, single hand four wheel height adjustment, to a collection bin to hold items picked up while mowing. It folds up into a small package easy to store. The power of the 40v system is at least as good as any gas mower.
I love it! I cut my entire yard (about 10,000 sf, less my house) on one charge and cut right through thicker patches. The bagger holds a lot and the self propelled had me trying to keep up at times. It sounds like a kids power wheels jeep which made me laugh. Overall, I'm glad I bought it.
This mower is awesome!!! we just purchased a brand new home and needed a great mower battery operated self-propelled. It has a bag. Also I use the mulching this time. It worked awesome and comes with a great battery charger and then I also purchased the blower and the weedeater that also has a battery and then I purchased an extra battery to go with it love the experience. Everything worked great and I'm charged up and ready to go for the next mow.!!!
I was a little disappointed when I had to select another item in lieu of the one that I ordered originally i was a little disappointed when I had to select another item in lieu of the one that I ordered originally but having received this one, I went ahead and used it because I was desperate to get my yard cut the grass in the yard and I was impressed with its operation. It's movability it's handling. It did a very, very fine job so I was of course glad that I wound up being that happy with it so I'm leaving a good report so anyone else desiring to check this unit out I think you will find it. It's a very adequate lawnmower. I don't have any hills in my yard. It's basically flat so I don't even use the automatic drive in it not saying that I won't it sometime but right now I have not used that but overall it works very well and I am happy. This is a 1 day review and so please do not take everything I say as the ultimate gospel. This is a VERY QUIET MOWER. Very quiet. It shuts off automatically especially when the grass is too long or the terrain is ROUGH. I also like the self propel feature. The self propel feature helps me mow especially uphill which can be a hustle. I used it for about 30min doing the front yard and the battery did not drain. All in all I believe that this mower will last me a long time. Keeping my fingers crossed for a decade. Lol
We finally replaced a struggling, old gas mower...and had been looking for an electric model to replace it. This mower checked all of our boxes, and then some. Great battery life, clean cutting, easy height adjustment, and the self-propelled motor takes so much effort out of mowing our yard. We couldn't be more satisfied.
Needed a self-propelled mower at a reasonable price. This is perfect for my purposes. Highly recommend it. Not sure how it would handle a larger yard, but I have a small yard and it takes care of my little slice of heaven, and I could even take care of my neighbor too, and have power to spare on the battery.
Self propelled function could be improved once engaged it takes 2-3 seconds to move forward and I wish the tires were rubber, they lose grip on surfaces. Battery is great, last way longer than I thought and charges quickly for its size. Maybe not the top of the line, but neither is the price.
I'm totally unsatisfied with the lawn mover. The mower works good on a thin lawn. I tried to mow a thick dry lawn and it would run for a few feet and then stop running. I'd have to take the battery out clean out the grass put the battery back in and then continue mowing for a few feet. I could see it having difficulty mowing a wet lawn, but this one was dry but thick. I'm very disappointed with the lawnmower that I purchased, which was not cheap.
My biggest concern with this lawn mower is its difficulty handling thicker grass. I have one area in my yard—about a quarter of the backyard—that's denser, and I didn't realize the issue until I had already mowed the first three‑quarters of the lawn. To get through that thicker patch, I've had to raise the mower to the highest setting for the first pass, lower it and mow a second time, and then lower it again for a third pass. The battery life is close to an hour, which is fine, but it would be wonderful to find a mower that can run closer to an hour and a half, especially when extra passes are needed.
