Theres really no way to answer this because its a gift the smoker is a gift for my grandson For Christmas

Product was cheaper somewhere else but needed the smoker sooner so paid a little more for it. Wish you could pick the chips that come with the smoker.

I have had the Little Chief front load smoker for just over a month now, i have used it almost every other day, from ribs, to pemeal bacon, to chicken wings, and so much more. Its awesome the incredible flavors that i am creating on foods that i have cooked so many times before. It is super simple to use, easy to clean up after you are done.

This is a replacement for same unit owned in the '80's. Still a good, lightweight, ready-to-go unit for small batches. Unit came with a small dent on one corner that does not affect use.

This is the second smoker I have purchased. My first was a Top-Load Mini Chief with 3 racks. I have used it about 3-4 times per year for 10 years & found it to be quite dependable at smoking salmon. I purchased the Little Chief Front Loader because I am now smoking salmon & trout so I needed more capacity. The front loader seems to work fine but I like the top load single rack design better. I don't, however, understand why the new Little Chief has slides for 5 racks but comes with only 4 actual racks.

Arrived damaged due to its flimsy construction. Cooks hotter than I'd hoped for. The white albumen from the salmon could be seen. No temperature adjustment. A little overpriced. Might return it. Has 5 shelves but only four racks. Why for $100 would you short me a rack. Originally recommended by a chef friend of mine.

The seller didn't put the wood chips in the box and would not send them later

You guys lied to me, I ordered that one because comes with a free bag of wood chips and that is not true. I never received the free bag of wood chips.
