The bay leaves are nice large, whole leaves, and the aroma is strong, even though the leaves are dry. They will be wonderful in soups. I am very happy with the quality of this product. I read that bay leaves keep away roaches. I live in an old house, so I placed some leaves in a few nooks %26 crannies. Great result! I haven't seen any of those pests. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this package of bay leaves! I love taking in a deep whiff of the aroma.
This is a big bag of bay leaves, yet most of the leaves are not broken. I actually bought these, not just for cooking. I was getting some little roaches in my house, and I read that they don't like the smell of bay leaves. I must say, I haven't found a roach since I put these out, even though the bay leaf smell did not last long.
l love adding bay leaves to my food, so when I saw that I could purchase it in bulk I jumped for the offer. Soeos bay leaves are non GMO. I look for this in a product also the nutrients provided in bay leaves. I am dividing my product with my family.

Lots of big leaves Dried but not crumbly Wonderful for sachets
After several months of intermittent sorting, I have finally gotten within one pint bag of finishing. What I received was an incredibly large bag of extra large down to small bay leaves. A lot of pieces but mostly field grade of various looking dried mildewed looking tough leaves. There are enough smaller-nice looking leaves to make it worthwhile to sort. I can use the rest for leaving on shelves %26 plants to discourage little bugs.
