Most definitely not remotely audiophile merchandise. If you are unfortunate enough to purchase this item, you are paying for the Company name and nothing else. It's a total rip off plain %26 simple !!! Poor clarity, weak bass, and tinny treble...no depth of sound!
i wish i could suggest turtle beach as good cheap headphones for hearing footsteps in games but TB literally break right out of the box... everything on TB besides the speakers themselves are made to break joke compamy. Meanwhile at a higher price range you can get these great quality headphones for PC. Notice you see nobody on here talking about what these headphones are actually made for and are probably expecting a more well rounded headphone i.e. multipurpose or just having a sound more matched to music, movies, dev intended game sound etc etc. Maybe keep looking if any of those are what you're looking for.
This is my second pair to be used for broadcast music production as a Jazz program host. A warhorse, though the blue "Professional" lettering has worn away, my initial pair have lasted 10+ years without the fraying or cracking of the headband. I just swapped out the leatherette ear covers for cloth. (The old ones will serve for nighttime TV listening.)
Really uncomfortable. I can only wear these for an hour at most, and that's with adjusting position every 15 mins. The headband literally is just hard plastic covered in leather, why did I think it would be soft? Lol. The ear pads are okay, but they're basically on-ears unless, I suppose, you have extremely small and flat ears. So that's uncomfortable for me too, squishin' my big ears. They sound fine but the clarity honestly kinda sucks compared to my DT770s, which are also vastly superior in comfort, as I can wear them literally all day.
Put these headphones back in early November 2025, and I simply cannot stop using them. The sound is impeccable and the quality of the headphones themselves are some of the best that I've seen in ages. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!!
Good headphones. I had Sony 7506 phones before. They lasted for about 15 years, until one channel went out and they became useless. They provide a very nice, balanced response. Good for audio recording at a relatively low cost. Hoping these ones last, but we'll see….
delivery was prompt, (like always) but the headphones DID NOT WORK! Sony's customer service was terrible, couldn't hear or understand the tech and I could hear a dog barking in the backround the whole time. never buying sony again, but will still shop Walmart.
I am really loving these headphones, the sound is amazing. The only thing I wish a lot of manufacturers would do is put more comfortable hear pads on them. I did buy replacements pads for them right away , which is what a lot of folks do apparently, but, well worth it. I bought some that don't make my ears sweat , have more padding and should wear too quickly. Other than that I would highly recommend these and know now, why they are the industry standard
They came with one side detatched that needed clipped on, feels flimsy, and they glue the lid shut now I guess, so prepare for opening it with some difficulty. As for sound, honestly did not know how my sound was supposed to sound till I used these, apparently my computer sound is awful 😳 😆But wow, these fixed that. They came fragrance free, thank you for that! I LOVE non sanitized sprayed, non chemically poisoned products, storing facilities, and transport vehicles, actual lifesaver and few options accomodating that. Hope to see more of that. Great product, worth the buy, don't let the initial lightweight feel bother you, plug them in and sit back with some Pandora first. 😀
Bought this 3 years ago and looks + works perfectly
