These work so well at cancelling out background noises. I have a loud fan in my bedroom and when I put these on I cannot hear it at all. It’s so easy to have a conversation with others by just pressing my hand on my right ear and noise cancellation can be turned off or on. They fit well to my head and are soft against my ears. The app allowed me to adjust the treble and bass so I can customize my sound. I’m happy it uses a USB-C charging cord but I’d like if they included a base as well, luckily I do have extra bases to charge the headphones. Overall, I would recommend this because it lets you customize the sound output, is comfortable to wear and has great noise cancellation.
I love these headphones. They can be used wireless or wired. One charge has lasted over 6 hours of almost continuous use. They have built-in mics so can take phone calls while using. The sound is amazing and the noise cancelation is superior. My son tried them & now he wants a pair so will be purchasing a set for him. Highly recommend.
These headphones are a very comfortable over-the-ear design. They pair very quickly with multiple devices and the microphones are surprisingly good quality. My call recipient was an older individual with some hearing impairment, and they said my voice came through loud and clear. I will note there was some lag during the call and some Bluetooth static. Some of the issues may have been due to a poor connection on either end, but some had the telltale Bluetooth garbled noises, so it's hard to be sure of the source. I was impressed by the active noise canceling because it could tell the difference between me standing next to a speaker playing talk radio and the sound of an in-person voice so that only the in-person voice came through my headphones. I would say these are an excellent option for someone needing headphones with a decent mic for zoom calls or online classes, because as long as you wear them correctly (and not backward like I did initially... there are L and R indicators inside the ear cups), the mic will pick you up loud and clear and long sessions will not cause you the same discomfort as other designs of headphones. Also, bonus, the headphones come with a convenient semi-hard case so you're ready to take them on the go and not have other items in your bag damage them immediately.
These headphones are great!!!!! you can put these headphones on without any music and it will still block out the noise. The headphones fit comfortably on your head and easy to adjust. I like the durability of the headphones and they are made very nice. The cushions on the headphones are really nice and keeps out all of the noise.
Initial impression is the noise cancelling on these is impressive. If you're looking for a headset with significant noise dampening, then definitely give these a look. Packaged very nicely with a carry case and USB C cord. Very happy to see USB C integration for the charging port. They definitely put thought into what users needs might be as an aux port is also included. Anker is known for making quality audio products and this headset is no exception. Music sounds crisp and loud. I like that they labeled the ears L and R. Using the built in NFC to pair to an Android phone was easy and straight forward though I did have to pair the headset again to the soundcore android app. I did find the headset a bit loose so it could move about when used for activities such as running but each person's head is going to be different. Overall I'm impressed with this headset and it would be excellent for school, business and personal. The noise cancelling will be excellent for an airplane or a web conference meeting.
This review is for the Life Tune wireless headphones by Anker. The one thing I look for in headphones is ease of connectivity. These are a breeze to connect. They are compatible with nfc pairing, but I just used the bluetooth route. They are the best sounding headphones I have ever owned. I never sprung for the high end, well known brand names that cost several hundred dollars plus, and now thanks to these headphones I never will. There is an app called Soundcore that will work in conjunction with these headphones. The biggest use that I found for the app was customizing the equalizer. The noise cancelling is awesome, and you can change modes by simply touching the right earphone for 2 seconds. Or by pressing the nc button on the left earphone. You can listen to people talk in transparent mode without having to take the headphones off. There are 3 modes: normal, transparent and noise canceling. The volume buttons are easily accessible on the right earphone. The power button is on the left one. They come with a 3.5mm cable if you choose to physically connect to a device. A usb to type-C cable is also included for charging them, along with a storage/carrying case. Calls are crystal clear (on both ends) thru them and there are 2 microphones built in. I love everything about these headphones and would highly recommend them at their price point. The quick start guide is very helpful. Definitely 5 stars.
Good value for basic headphones. The battery life is great, lasts up to five hours. They are very comfortable and fold for easy transport, and come with a soft pouch to transport them in. A hard pouch would be nice to keep them from breaking. Easily activate noise cancelling mode to fully enjoy your music.
My daughter was able to use these for her online classes and give me her opinion based on continual use of them. Overall, she was very pleased and had a lot of good things to say. Pros: The Soundcore headphones are very comfortable on the ear when wearing for long periods of time. They make a good seal around the ear and have a great range of sound. The highs are smooth and the bass is solid with a very good feel without distortion. I would say they really excel in the mids. Very clean crisp sound. Overall, at the price point, they are a value purchase! Also, the are made well. The headphones are plastic and metal and will definitely last. Con: The app is not user friendly. Great for anyone who needs to focus on work or school without distraction and wants to be comfortable.
These headphones sound pretty good and they do cancel a good amount of noise. They are not on par with the expensive Sony or Bose in terms of noise cancellation or sound quality but they do a fair job for the price. They don't silence ambient noises completely but they bring it down enough that you don't need to blast your music. You might be able to find a older model of Sony's refurbished at the price of these headphones but you'll have to look for a while. They are very light and comfortable. I do get MUCH better range with these headphones than either my Sony or Bose headphones. The range is actually very impressive. If they had some kind of way to enable the EQ from the soundcore app when it's connected to something other than a phone they'd work really well with a computer because the range is so great. They also come with a nice case. I purchased a similar case for my Sony's and it cost another $20 which is 1/4 of what these headphones cost. If this is your budget I think they're good. Even if you can afford triple the price for some good Sony's these are great for bouncing around so your expensive ones don't get lost, stolen, or forgotten somewhere.
My search for a pair of noise cancelling headphones with good volume and sound continues. These compared to my current ones are clearer-brighter, but less bass and overall tone is kind of high. The volume in general is low and I had to go into advanced settings on my computer to get the it up enough to hear. On my phone, I have to put it at almost the highest setting. Normally I keep both very low. I didn't notice any difference in the noise cancelling settings either (which take longer to switch between than other pairs I've had). Design: I like that they have raised physical buttons (pictured), so you can tell what you're hitting. However, like similar wireless Bluetooth headphones, the volume and skip buttons become obsolete when you use the wire. Extras: there is a touch option and phone tap, but they're geared toward Android phones and assuming the app; the touch feature doesn't seem to work on its own. Fit: If you're having problems with ones being too tight, these are a good option. They are flexible, stretchy (you can pull them apart almost a foot), and the ear cups are larger. They are relatively light and cushioned well. Battery Life: negative, I can't get mine to turn off; positive, they've been on 3 days straight and still going. Accessories: I appreciated that they came with hard top storage case (a plus if you're a student or someone who travels for work). Price: I have a pair that is double the cost of these, and these are just as good; however, I also have a basic pair that is half the price and they're better than both. If you're really needing the Bluetooth or wireless option, these do run lower in cost than most, so I would still recommend giving them a chance.
