IT'S NOT 1000 MG BUT 500 MG.
This is my second bottle for my dog that is going through chemo. It states that you get 1000 mg but what comes with it is 500mg . It is still a good price and it is big enough to put the vitamin down her throat. I'm not sure why it states 1000 mg but again it is only 500mg. Walmart doesn't even sell 1000 mg tablets from other companies.

Great for digestive healing on the go
I have autoimmune thyroid problems, which wreak havoc on my digestive system, and l-glutamine really helps keep everything working nicely. I use the powder at home, but that's not really feasible on the go, so I use these when I'm out, and they work great. I just wish they came in 1000 mg tablets as these are 500 mg each, which usually isn't enough.

For acid reflux
I used the L-Glutamine as treatment for acid reflux, it worked in combination with marshmellow root, aloe vera, melatonin

Sugar cravings gone!
I used to have bad sugar cravings. I take a couple of these every 4 hours and my sugar cravings are gone. They work. I just wish they made capsules.

Good health benefits. Too many to list.
This supplement is difficult to find. Had to order online. Would be great if Walmart carried a bigger quantity. But for all the benefits, one needs to look it up and make their own decision to try.

They are 500 mg tablets!!
They are not 1000 mg as listed. They come as 500 mg. They dont even sell 500 mg online?? Anyways I needed 1000 mg. Waited over a week for it to arrive at site to store. I was disappointed.

pros: it's cheap
So yeah, the price is great. Add to that, it is Glutamine. If you exercise, taking Glutamine helps with preventing muscle soreness and helping recovery. And this is glutamine, so points there. cons: they could not have made these pills worse. like childhood to present, this is the hardest pill to swallow i've ever encountered. they're small, but chalky and stick going down... like get stuck very painfully in your throat. I'm not sure what gel coating these things would cost, but it'd be worth it. I won't buy this one again.
