Spring Valley Omega-3 from Fish Oils Softgels, 1000 Mg, 180 Ct, 2 Pack (360 Ct)

I originally purchased this item with 180 capsules but this hopefully is the same exact thing. Labels say the same thing. After three blood draws all the bad numbers kept going up in 18 months time. These were one of the three changes I made and FINALLY the numbers dropped!!! My doctor was shocked at the tremendous change. I even dropped 17 pounds in the last six months!!! I switched back to Equate psylium sugarfree orange powder because the capsules do not work and started to take my Simvastatin 40 mg at night. I even amazed myself!!! You can bet I will keep this up. Please get the bigger bottle back in stock!!!

All fish oil capsules are not created the same. Spring Valley contains the same amount of EPA/DHA Omega-3 as prescription strength at an affordable price. Most insurance companies will no longer cover Omega-3, or the copay is very expensive. My doctor recommends Spring Valley.

These Spring Valley Proactive Omega 3 Fish Oil soft gels are my go too. No fishy taste or after taste at all. No fishy burps. Great price. The soft gels are pretty big so keep that in mind if you have issues with swallowing bigger pills. Highly recommend for anyone looking for omega 3 fish oil supplements.

Spring Valley is one of my favorite brands of over the counter vitamins, supplements, etc. The capsules are odorless and tasteless but like most Omega-3 supplements the capsules are on the large size and can be somewhat difficult to swallow.

Spring Valley omega-3 Fish Oil Supplement arrived undamaged. Product easy to swallow. The contents were good quality which I expected. Walmart has efficient processing, good packaging. In summary, an excellent product.

I've been buying these for almost 5 years now. I use Omega-3 supplements to help with my dry eye disorder. Just one of these softgels provides 1000 mg of Omega-3 benefits each day. This twin-pack remains a very economical offering for the quantity of gel caps you receive. Other brands seem to say on their labels “1000 mg of Fish Oil” but that doesn't really tell you how much omega-3 fatty acids you are getting or how many pills a serving is. Thankfully, Spring Valley makes it easy! Each softgel contains “1000 mg of Omega-3”. Perfect! Although these caps are made from fish oil, I have never had fishy-burps or problems with bad after taste. The label says there is ‘lemon flavor' added but I don't notice that either. I find them easy to swallow and appreciate that a serving size is just one gelcap for 1000 mg of omega-3 benefits!

I've been taking these to help with dry eye. The previous brand of eye vitamin i used required 3 soft gels each day to get 1,000 mg of Omega-3. I'm so thankful that these Spring Valley vitamins pack 1,000 mg Omega3 into just one capsule! These 180-count bottles offer the best value. The label says that the caps are lemon flavored, but I've never notice any flavor when taking them. I also do not have any problems with fishy “burps” or bad aftertaste. These bottles are sealed for protection and have one desiccant silica gel pack inside to keep the gelcaps fresh. The screw cap is not child-proof and easy to remove. I have been purchasing these for more than 5 years and consider them a necessity for my overall health.

I have been taking Spring Valley Fish Oil products for some years now. I believe that it does me good. I know that some say there is no proof. There is one study that strongly suggests that the DHA component really helps us old folks with our memory. I believe it does that for me. I intend to keep using it.

Fish Oil arrived on time and was packaged to prevent any damage. I only buy fish oil from reputable countries like Canada, Norway, etc. not from China. This Spring Valley fish oil is the best I have ever used. No fish oil after taste. I will use this as long as Wal-Mart has it.

I take fish oil for its reputed cardiovascular benefits. There is some controversy on this, of course. I know, from my experience however, that it appears to certainly lower my triglycerides. I have confirmed this via blood testing. Lower triglycerides should have health benefits. There is also some evidence it may be beneficial for arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. There are other reputed benefits as well. For more information on the benefits of fish oil, I would recommend online research. This particular formulation has a large dose of both EPA and DHA. It contains 645 mg of EPA and 310 mg of DHA. That gives it almost a 1000 mg of these essential fatty acids. I have found that if I take the fish oil capsules a few hours after a meal, I don't get the fishy burps or aftertaste. At this dose, you only need to take one per day. I certainly can recommend them.
