I like this chili a lot. It's good by itself but I like to put some Frito jalapeno cheese in it and then customize it the way you want with anything you want.
I purchased these products from Walmart because they're canned goods are significantly cheaper than what I can find locally phenomenal! delivery cost is more than offset by the pricing
I wish they carried this in my local store... I have to have it shipped to me. Funny that they had it in Nevada stores, California stores, Arizona stores, Texas stores, and Tennessee stores but NOT HERE.
This is my favorite brand %26 favorite flavor under this brand. It's the only chili I ever buy or eat. My family loves the spicy %26 sweet flavor enormously...
Staff chili is the best! I love spicy hot chili and this one fits the bill. I eat a lot of this chili.
I purchased this because of the label's over promising of Hot Spiciness, and the use of Habanero's. There was zero heat, in fact this was milder than Jalapeno's mildest heat. I had to add my own Habanero Hot Sauce to it to spice it up to promised levels.
The heat level is perfect, the beans are tender, there's plenty of meat, and it has a rich tomato gravy. I wanna like it, but they put so much sugar in it that I can't stand it. Chili should not be sweet, that just ruins all those good things about it.
The chili tastes okay. However if you are buying this chili because the description and says "hot" I would advise buying fruit loops instead. Because fruit loops will probably taste hotter than this chili. The word hot and this chili have nothing to do with each other
This supposedly extra hot chili isn't even close to extra hot. The taste is terrible. For some stupid reason, they decided you want extra hot chili because you want something that tastes like candy. It's disgustingly sweet. Even after adding two packets of hot Chinese mustard, it's still underwhelming when it comes to heat, and still way too sweet. This has to be one of the worst canned chili varieties I've ever tried. On the bright side, it's reasonably thick, meaty, and they didn't overdo with with the beans, which really don't belong in chili to begin with. (chili with beans is a New York City thing) It'll fill you, and if you like extra sweet chili that's vaguely spicy, this could be right up your alley. If you like chili, and you like spicy, look elsewhere. Stagg needs to rename this chili to "Candied Chili, Vaguely Spicy".
This chili is a crap. Has sour after taste. Its full of sugar so it makes a sweetened bad after taste. Now add the flavor of metal from the can to that, and you have a crap. Use your money to make good chili at home and take with you. This is a lunch wrecker. Go away Stagg.
