It was really easy to assemble, also it was packed with a lot of foam protection so it came without any scratches or damage. Everything in the package, no missing parts, and the best is the value of it. I like it very much.

Delivered on time, packaged well with all parts and necessary tools! Not too difficult to assemble, although two sets of hands are helpful for the cabinet assembly, and some strength to lock the drawers into place. Everything works great and the files fit just right. This file cabinet is a great value for the money!

A great cabinet to keep general paperwork in order. If you are not too worried about security, this is a good cabinet for organization, offering different options to arrange the drawers.

I love these cabinets. I have bought 3 so far. They are relatively easy to assemble and nice quality. However, the last one that I purchased came with one piece bent. I assembled it anyway because I was hoping that it would still work but the top drawer will not close right and when I asked for a replacement piece they said that I had to dissemble the whole thing get it back into the box and drive the thing to the shipping company. ARG!!!!! What a pain. Also it seems it was shipped bent because the box has great packaging and was not damaged upon delivery that I could see. Inspect your parts before you assemble and don't expect parts replacement. Otherwise I do like these cabinets. The other ones I bought are filled and have held up nicely for a year now.

I needed a filing cabinet for my home office. It wouldn't get hard use, so I didn't want to pay a lot for it. This fit my needs nicely. My only real complaint was in the assembly. Even that wasn't too bad until it came to putting the assembled drawers into the cabinet. There were "tips" about what could go wrong with this step in the instructions, so I was suspicious I'd be in for a challenge. The drawers were crooked and would hit together when you opened or closed them. I took them out and walked away for a while. My wife gave it a try and declared it unusable. I thought about it for a couple of days and tried again with complete success. The keys are: 1. Make sure that the locking and anti-tip mechanisms are in the right position. 2. Make sure the drawer slides are properly spaced and level front to back and side to side. They can be knocked out of alignment. 3. Make sure that each drawer is not only sitting in the clips that attach them to the slides, but that they are pushed completely down and snaped into place. In order to do this, I had to SLIGHTLY pry the clips open a bit so that the drawers would fit in, slide all the way down, and snap into place. Once I did all that, the drawers went in fine and everything works well.

i really like it but it came with a bunch of scratches on it. one side is scuffed up.

The first piece out of the box is dented. This is not a small dent. And what makes matters worse is there is no phone number to call anywhere in the box to see if we can change out this one piece that we have found so far to be dented.

Assembly was not trivial but we put it together only to find that the bottom drawer was seated too hi and the top drawer overlapped the outside of the cabinet by a quarter inch and would not close all the way. This was because the pre-installed drawer tracks were misaligned, causing the drawers to be slightly too high. Therefore the top drawer will not close all the way and so it could not be locked and the drawers would not open properly. We did not return it because we had no confidence that a replacement would not be the same. Also it was going to be stored in a closet. Price paid reflect the poor quality of the product.

This item is too heavy for shipping. My package arrived severely damaged and when I took all the pieces upstairs to put them together, the 2 back panels were missing and one of the bars.

First the good news, the package was delivered earlier than expected and in good shape. After several hours of assembly, the cabinets wws as sturdy as expected for a product at this price point. However when installing the drawers, the top drawer does not close all the way. It is about 1/4" too high and hits the top of the cabinet. Upon further inspection below the bottom drawer there is the same 1/4" gap. I believe the drawer slide mechanism is too high making the drawers to hig, thus, even though the drawers slide well, the top drawer is prevented from closing. Since the slide mechanism is permanently installed in the factory, there is no way to make an adjustment. I called Walmart and was told the only way to return it is to disassemble the cabinets and retern it in the box. Very poor customer service and design of this product.
