really good for General use love the color

Sturdy and strong! I like the bright green color so it's easy to find in a drawer.

I gave this knife a fair rating as I had to get a screwdriver out to get it opened up to get the packaging out and the blade in. The case has casting flaws at the underside that I will have to file smooth before long time use. I'm sure this was a fluk on the knife as I've never had this on other knives that I have purchased. The color is great and the knife works well when cutting aluminum on a brake to make window wraps. If I rated this knife as shipped I would give it two stars. I'm rating it based on no casting flaws. The underside of this knife is smooth like the red retractable knife, but it isn't an issue as you are not trying to hold the blade out while cutting so you get a better grip on the knife body. It's hard to beat the design and easy-to-find color of the High-Viz Stanley. The thicker portion of the knife fits really well in the palm and makes it easier to use for longer projects. I own about six of the basic, gray version (Model 99E) which I really love--when I can find them. This knife has a unique color which makes it easy to locate in a crowded tool bag. Marketing photos just don't do it justice. This is an almost neon-green, and will be INCREDIBLY hard to misplace. The blade extends and retracts incredibly smoothly, doesn't hang-up anywhere. The only minor annoyance is that, in taking it apart ti install/replace a blade, putting it back together correctly to put the screw back in was a bit of a pain. As I egt older, I think I get less organised. The high visibility of this knife really helps when I set it down somewhere and a minute later, I forget where I put it. Besides the nice bright color, Stanley has simplified the ease of replacing the blade with the push button feature. You still have to open the knife to access replacement blades which is a bit of a hassle but, overall, it is a great tool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Just makes me appreciate the quick change models. Holds up to hard use and easy to clean simple

It's hard to change the blade. I don't have a lot of strength in my hands like I use to. But by using a pair of pliers. I got the job done

Why won't the blade come out? I lost my boxcutter that required a simple push forward. This is a puzzle. Help. I'm sick of buying these.
