it's a Stanley of course I would recommend! Years of durability and quality you can trust!
I have been I construction for more than 25 years. I have used Stanley tools for as long as I can remember but I have to give credit to the 2', 4' and 6' levels. I bought all three once and they have proven to be the most durable and reliable levels I have ever worked with. I'm also a huge fan of the fat max Tape measures. Another great product that I won't go without. Keep up the good work Stanley. I have to many of your tools to mention right now and they all serve me well. Let me tell you about this Level. It has so many great features. It has a centering ruler that allows the user to make sure they are making center marks correctly. It fits behind just about any vehicle seat. It has a clearly marked ruler on one side and a pipe groove on the other. It also has an angle gauge that is very helpful when needing to make sure those angle cuts are level. Get yourself one of these! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This level was very handy for a while. Unfortunately I was careless with it at a high-rise building, but it really came in handy using it. Most of my coworkers asked about it and I told him. Oh well, you know Stanley, they always come through.
I bought a Stanley 42-824 level and another one that was stolen and chose them because the bubble is large , so it is closer to the two lines. This eliminates much of the guess work and gives a more accurate result. Other brands have a little bubble that is too far from the two lines, which makes users lose time trying to guess if the objects are leveled. I have this level for over 20 years and am very happy with its performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This level is extremely durable and handy. The level is rugged and has stood up to a lot of use and some abuse. We constructed a workroom in our unfinished basement and this level help me installing studs, hanging upper cabinets and leveling the base cabinet. Having the rotating level, it definitely assists with making sure you are level or plumb.
Stanley -24 in 180 beam level. Are good quality for the price.I don't know how I could do without this level. It is one of our most used tool. Stanley levels are a good tool for a home owner or a professional. They are made to last. I use my level at least once a month. i would recommend Stanley's level and other tools. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good level , light weight and feels good to the hand , not a big fun of the bubble color but this level feels different, feels very durable and reliable Would recommend for any outside work like framing , forming , etc .
I bought this level because I have been pleased with a couple of other Stanley products but this thing has a major issue. It works great as a level (as all levels have seem to for me) but one of the features on this thing that made me want is the measurements on the edge. The problem is the plastic caps are not part of the measurements so you can't just butt this thing up against a corner and use the built in measurements because you'll be just over a quarter inch off. Those measurements are really useless at this point unless you take the plastic caps off but then you end up scratching anything it touches.
Mine was way off of level. When I turned thing, I got very different measurements of plumb. Test your level before you buy it, by turning it in different positions on the same spot, to see if it reads the same each time. I bought several Stanley tools recently, and none of them were any good, soft metal and poor design.
