SteelSeries has done it again. I am a gamer who has always been nervous about lag time so I was very wary of going to a wireless headset, but this headset is unreal. Absolutely zero lag time, it is super light, very comfortable, has awesome sound, and has improved by gaming significantly.
I bought these for myself around a month ago. I would consider myself a light gamer, and simply using them for lifestyle too. They're extremely sturdy , and for the price point they're also very comfortable and have pretty good sound quality. I enjoy the part that the microphone detaches super easily when I'm using it to simply connect to my phone or laptop to listen to music. I mostly game on my switch so I love how easy it is for me to connect it wirelessly. The connecter toggle is super small and slim so it does not get in the way when I'm playing games. By using these wireless gaming headphones, I'm no longer bothering people while I'm playing on my switch out in public. The design of these headsets are also subtle enough that when I used them out in public they don't scream GAMER so I really like that.
for the price point - couldn't ask for anything more, they are comfortable and work well!
I needed a new headset and this is fine for people who are not spending money on big microphones and such
I've had this headset for a little over a month now and wear them for about 15- 20 hrs per week. They are amazingly comfortable, not heavy at all. They haven't become unpaired a single time and the battery is long lasting. Sound quality is great! Best headset I have ever owned and I've owned a lot of headsets!
They're either as good or better than expected. Was just looking for a durable, low latency, good mic headset for pc. Saw good reviews for this one but didn't expect them to be *that* great for under $100. But I've been using these a couple weeks now and I'm surprised with how comfortable they are; they fit tight and snug sealing your ears. They feel quite durable and wireless latency feels great. Sound quality is as good as I expected; they dont sound like cheap headphones but aren't crazy good; more good than bad though like of a pair of Sony headphones. Mic quality is nothing special. I could be clearly heard with no distortion or cutting out or anything, but I didn't sound much better than a $30ish wired headset. But I knew that going in, you're paying for the wireless and flexibility. The option to use these as wired is incredible btw. I dont even have to turn the headphones on, I can just plug in the aux wire and use the headphones with no power. I'm definitely happy I bought these.
Solid headphones with good audio. I play games like valorant and escape from tarkov and I usually find myself hearing sounds my friends don't hear. The software has a lot of customization and they are always adding new features to the software such as sonar or performance sound. The only downsides to these headphones is the ear cups are made of fabric that captures smells. Also, you have to always have the software (steel series) open in the background to take advantage of the sound tuning. These are my second pair (the first pair lasted around 3 or 4 years of heavy daily usage.) The reason they broke was because the charging port had been worn out and it became extremely loose. Making it impossible to charge. (To be fair, I was very rough with them and I could have extended their lifespan with better care) I tried to take them apart and replace the charging port but they used proprietary screws to limit access to the internals. After about 3 years of heavy use, the batteries max capacity was pretty degraded. From about 14 hours ish of use time when first bought, to about 5 or 6 hours of use time before needing to be charged. Whenever these headphones give out, ill probably upgrade to a more expensive pair from the steel-series selection, or just rebuy the same headphones.
Fundamentally, the sound isnt good. its quiet and muffeled even on when the volume is cranked all the way up. there is no adjusting the EQ and its balanced poorly. get the turtle beach stealth 500 for the same price. way better aound quality. everytbing else is good quality but if the headphones dont sound good whats the point.
i didnt know until i bought this that it can only be used with the bluetooth dongle. it will not work without that dongle. the dongle also uses quite a lot of battery and can get fairly warm. aside from the dongle, these were good sounding and comfortable headphones for the 18 months or so that they worked. now i get audio from only 1 side.
I have yet to receive it, you lost my package
