This product has been sold in various forms for decades, and it is reliable and generally thought to be safe. It is not the softest fabric, but it's not really supposed to be touching the skin. I have fallen asleep with it several times and the size is almost perfect for wrapping around your hips and back although I do wish it were a little longer.

The softness of the material the verse little ways you can use it because you can wrap it around. You can lay it flat. It's easy to plug-in easy to clean. I absolutely love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the biggest heating pad I have ever seen. It covers my entire back while sitting up for lying down. It has 4 heat options, high, medium, low, warm. I enjoy the soft blue cover that keeps it from getting too hot.

I believe this heating pad may be defective. When I turn it on, the red light indicates it's set to high, but I feel little to no heat coming from the pad. It also shuts off after a short period of time. I've used heating pads before and have never experienced this issue, so this doesn't seem normal. Because of this, the pad hasn't been very useful. I'm hoping the seller can help resolve this problem or provide a replacement.
