Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth, 48 oz Carton

I have tried several reduced-sodium chicken broth/stock products, and this is now the only one I purchase. I went ahead and heated a cup to sip while writing my review to keep the taste fresh in my mind. I literally use this to cook rice (instead of water) make soups, gravy, and anything else that requires stock; or not. This actually tastes great, and believe me when I say that I have tried many tasteless and bland reduced-sodium products due to watching my sodium intake. This has a full chicken flavor, almost like a bone broth. The broth is not "bland and tasteless" as are many of the reduced-sodium broths. There is a fullness to the feel of this in your mouth and it DOES have a bit of a salty texture. But unlike the regular sodium stocks, this will not "burn your tongue of give you this sensation if you are someone that is closely watching your sodium intake. You will understand what I mean by this as a high-sodium product if not used often, can produce an almost burnt quality to the tip of your tongue. This does not do that. Have you ever purchased a low-sodium stock and end up adding salt to it? LOL THIS will never happen with this product. I am so happy that I found this to use in my cooking and recommend it to anyone if they ask about a recipe, as I tell them all about this stock. This product is not greasy, nor does it leave a greasy coating on the inside of your mouth as some of these products might do. This is excellent stock, and as stated earlier, I do simply just drink this sometimes while working at my desk. This is the only stock that I purchase to use. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys chicken stock with the rich flavor of a bone broth without the heavy salt /sodium content. You can always try it out by just purchasing one of the 15oz cans to see if you like it. Add it to some rice, with diced onions, celery, parstly and shredded chicken breat purchased from Walmart. It is a great way to try this and I really believe that you will purchase more.

I used it for a comforting hot cup of soup, but didn't add anything to it. I have had a cold and each day until gone I would warm up a cup of broth. I plan to purchase more and use for soups, or in place of water in a recipe & still for a plain hot cup of broth.
