Tetra Aquarium Whisper, 20-40 Gallon Internal Power Filter

I have used these Tetra large power filters for many years. It makes a quiet waterfall sound. The filter is easy to clean and replace charcoal pads . ( 0ne sample charcoal pad is included ) I use the suction cups that are provided to attach it to the inside of the aquarium glass and set the filter on a flat rock to raise it higher because my tank is not large enough for a larger filter. I only fill the tank about half full because I have a basking area in my tank for my large turtle. This Tetra filter is a good price.

It cleaned our turtle tank fast. One thing, the suction cups do not stick well. Love that it is heavy enough that our turtle cannot knock it over.

We have a tank with turtles and the filter that came with the tank died. I bought this as a replacement and it works much better than the original

works great in my oil filled fish tank .use with oil sumerged pc . motor does make a little noise but not very much . it should be quiter than other i have tried . and it is but not much .i docked one star on that account.. over all happy...........

not enough to help aquariums

Bought this to help another smaller tetra whisper that was struggling to clean an aquarium it was rated to clean . What I should of done is bought another brand filter.

I am unable to provide a rating at this time as I have not yet had the opportunity to install the product. However, I have had positive experiences with this brand in the past and have no reason to believe that this product will be any different.
