The Pasta Queen Spicy Vodka Sauce, 24 oz Jar

I absolutely love this sauce. My kids ask for it once a week. I boil pasta in one pot and heat this up in a skillet with a little olive oil. Add some cream and toss the pasta in it for the last few minutes with a splash of pasta water. I also add a few tbsp of cold butter at the end. It's delicious!!! Definitely try this sauce out. It's even good without tweaking it.

Awesome sauce base. I added a little red pepper flake to make it more spicy and love it. Will be purchasing again

This is a quality jar sauce. I know a vodka sauce is a bit creamy in addition to the tomato, but this one was not overwhelmingly so in my opinion.

This sauce was good as are all of her sauces but personally, I like the taste and texture of the arrabbiatta better than this one. That said, I'd still buy it again.

I really love this in winter. Spiciness is top notch. Delicious. When I feel like something different I always rely on this pasta sauce. Now that I'm the Italian pasta princess, restaurant pasta can't satisfy me anymore tho.

You're gonna have to pay a little more for this pasta sauce, but it's i've got a good flavor and texture.

First of all I absolutely adore the Pasta Queen and watch all her videos, I was so excited she came out with her own jar of sauces. I know she didn't technically make these by hand, but I wanted to add in depth review.. I grew up in Sicily, and make all my sauces from scratch, so what I can say about this sauce is that there's not enough sweetness, maybe it's the type of tomatoes used, but this sauce is more acidic or vinegar type flavor is what you get. A little bit of sweetness would really make this sauce a lot better, possibly a bit of cream or Parmesan. I definitely had to tweak it, because it wasn't perfect, I wouldn't sit down and just eat a meal with this sauce alone, it's like there's ingredients or quality missing. So I would recommend a pinch of sugar or honey, onion powder, and Parmesan maybe a dash of crème or olive oil. This is just my preference and my advice. I do adore the Pasta Queen, and the spiciness in this sauce is good, it's not too spicy but creates depth. I didn't recommend this sauce cause you can make your own at home with a few ingredients, and this sauce needs more added to it, which takes away the convenience factor.
