My favorite herb. Great on chicken or fish with butter, lemon and garlic. Great for pickling veggies like beets or onions. I think I'm going to invent a tarragon shrimp stir fry soon. with shallots, mushrooms, snow peas. Hope it tastes as good as it sounds.

Large amt for price! BB date 13 mos so should maintain freshness. Would definitely buy again..if I ever run out

Fresh taste got my attention! Tarragon is wonderful mixed with a little mayo and slathered onto fish before baking. Or mix this herb into butter with garlic, chill, then stuff a pat inside a chicken breast before it rolling up and securing with a toothpick. Dredging each piece in flour, then milk, then flour again. Deep fry til golden. This is a great company dish. Tarragon might become your favorite, too!

Stay away from this product. Clearly not fresh. Color and appearance is mostly grayish-green, not dark green or bright green. Clearly adulterated with unidentifiable bits, sticks, leaves, brown bits, etc. Does not smell fresh. Does not smell like tarragon. Not happy. Won't be using. Looks like something to feed smalls animals like gerbils or hamsters.

I recently purchased several spices from the spice way. When I used the tarragon, I was horrified to find two foxtails in the mix. This is very dangerous. If ingested foxtails can migrate from the digestive tract or burrow into it causing dangerous abscesses. As a nurse practitioner, diagnosing something like this would take awhile because humans don't eat foxtails! Before it was known, the damage could be severe. This is nothing more than a quality control issue. I tried emailing the company but the website listed wouldn't work. I would not trust this company at this time for quality control issues alone.
