I haven’t had it long so I’ll edit my review later. This thing is just as good as the competitors for a much cheaper price. Very easy to use and pair. I love the simplicity. I checked the accuracy of the thermometer and it was spot on. I’m glad I took a chance on it since it was $30 cheaper than the competition.

The only thing you have to do really is charge it and cook your meat. The readability is easy to see and there’s not much troubleshooting you need unless your thermometer just isn’t working. This would make an amazing gift if you’re not buying for yourself.

It’s so easy to use stovetop, grill, or oven. I LOVE that it’s wireless. You charge the base station and the base charges the probe. This would be an excellent gift for the chef/griller in your family. It’s also awesome that the probe has a separate sensor for ambient temp, which has been helpful for smoking a brisket.

The probe is separate and goes into the meat, and you are able to read the temp from a distance, no need to stand over the grill or keep checking on the food, saved a bunch of time! Another plus is that it is magnetized on the back and sticks to side of grill until ready to use. Great product!

It weighs very little and it’s perfect for your pocket. The manufacturer indicates a range up to 600’. I have tested this unit for about 150’, and it functions perfectly. No more worries about overcooking. This unit has user temperature settings to your liking. The face is illuminated, and I can finally see it at night. It shows both ambient and meat temperature. The probe/sensor is inserted into the uncooked meat, and the transmitter/booster is placed nearby. The sensor remains in the meat; you can walk away and thoroughly monitor the cooking process. The temp was just right for what I was looking for. I used it on prime rib too and it came out perfect. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bang for your buck meat thermometer .

Love that it’s also magnetic, so you can easily leave it. You don’t even need a phone cause in the base, it shows you the information as well and it’s back lit. Fast charge. We are super happy.

I love that I can set the goal temperature and get alerts on my phone. The pairing to the app was quick and easy. The unit itself feels sturdy and well made. On my first attempt, the thermometer read higher than the actual meat doneness, so it will take a few uses to get the hang of the best probe placement. This model has up to a 600 foot range, which is very convenient. I did have a little difficulty syncing it to my cell phone at first and had to try a few times, but I truly believe that was more user error than the product itself. Once it finally connected, it paired easily and worked perfectly from that point on. I have very little experience using wireless meat thermometers, so I was thrilled with how simple it was to use. I fully charged it, inserted the spike into the meat as instructed, and let it cook. When I pulled it out and checked the temperature, the meat was perfectly done. It honestly could not have been any easier, especially for someone who doesn’t have much experience using meat thermometers. It was easy to clean, the quality appears sturdy and meant to last. The magnet backing is handy as well. You can watch the temperature from the outside of your grill, refrigerator or on your phone. If I had one complaint, it would be that it felt like it took a while to charge and stay charged, so my advice would be to make sure it’s fully charged before you plan to use it. Other than that, this is absolutely something I would buy again and a name brand I would feel confident purchasing as a gift.
