I have extremely sensitive skin. I have tried every detergent under the sun and I have to say-I love my Tide! Having the free and clear option has made me happy and I have no reactions whatsoever. If you find that other detergents make you itch or give you a rash--this version of Tide will fix it!
Consumer Reports Etc rate this THE best for Hard Water. This product is great if you get the proper container. I did multiple orders of the container you do not have to lift but kept receiving the one that has to be lifted for each and every load. Impossible with certain health conditions. Keep that in mind if you are ordering online. I would prefer a scent. But nothing cleans better than this one in Hard Florida Water. It gets all the puppy poop urine vomit etc stains out. Gets all the dirt grass chocolate and ketchup stains out. All in one wash. I do not pretreat anything. I pour up to the shortest line. Even for the largest loads. Pods are too expensive. I just toss the filled cap in with the wash. It equates to about two or three tablespoons. That is it. So the price is actually cheaper than other detergents. Especially if you get it on sale or get Walmart Cash Back. This Tide Free Clear is even better than Original Tide Gain Persil Etc for Hard Water. The BEST Odor Remover for sweat poop urine vomit etc is Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Fresh Linen. The Unscented Lysol does not work on those stinky things. Downy Ultra Blue Eucalyptus is best for a Hard Water Fabric Softener. Sure Distilled Vinegar is more green. But I tried it and did not like it. Welcome. :D
Works great, removes stains and odors, no strong smells, no dyes. Best of all my family doesn't have skin irritation from this detergent!
this is the only detergent I can use with my kids. their skin is so sensitive! and it has enzymes in it! which you really want if you have kids lol. I used this when I cloth diapered my son too, thanks to having enzymes in it! it's more expensive then other brands but absolutely worth every penny!
We have been using this for a few years now. Love the fragrance free type because my family has sensitive skin. We also dont like strong fragrances. This detergent works very well and doesnt ruin our laundry. A little goes a long way. I only use 2 tablespoons for a large load. I highly recommend!
My husband has extremely sensitive skin in areas that sweat a lot when working out, especially in hotter conditions, and other detergents cause his skin to break out in an awful rash. Tide free %26 gentle has worked wonders, both working great at helping prevent the rash from occurring as well as still doing a great job at cleaning our laundry!
My grandmother used tide in the '70s and my mother taught me to use tide and I have been using tide since the '80s when I moved from home and I've never had a problem with it, my dermatologist wanted me to switch to free and gentle, and I noticed it immediate difference on my skin, no more itching. it gets the clothes very clean. no need for perfumes,
I'm allergic to just about every laundry detergent on the market but not this. It's also a bonus that I can use it on my newborns. clothes so I don't have to buy separate detergent for him. Leaves our clothes clean, fresh and free of stains. I've been using this for almost 5 years now and refuse to buy any other "free and clear" brand.
Clean ingredients are very important to me, but let's be real, “all natural” detergent doesn't get the clothes clean. This stuff WORKS. It gets all the dirt and food stains off of my toddler clothes. It's a great alternative to the all natural stuff. No fragrance. It doesn't irritate my newborn or toddler's skin.
For a Senior Citizen, the cap and turning of the spout does Not work well - it's too tight and impossible to do. Seniors cannot squeeze the sides of the cap while also trying to turn the cap. Surely a better way of dispensing this product can be developed so that all custimers can be able to use it. all curtomers are not make. yiubf, and strong in the hands. Please consider us seniors, who do spend money for products. too , when designjng your containers.. If we can't open it, we wont buy it and will find another product to use.
