Great compact heater,i bought a Mr heater big buddy propane portable, but those 1 pound tanks are getting very expensive, this was at a steal during summer months so i snagged it and a 3 pack of butane canisters and its a well made,light weight,2 in 1 flip to heat up that chilli on the trail as you retire into your tent for a cold night ahead,its a cute compact unit,that on high all night it usually goes will burn up to 6 hours etc,now i wish i would have grabed 3 more as gifts to my wilderness friends who hike and hunt,camp,etc its a great heater and alot cheaper than burning propane, you can attach the big tanks as 20 pounders ,just grabbed the 12 canisters value pack today for upcoming snow ice storm on the way for the weekend!

I like it. My Problem was it had A 1/2-3/4 inch Deep scratch in it. An it was scratched all over. I called walmart an they reimbursed me the Whole amt i paid. it works good. So im.Happy i even took pictures and Walmart said they didn't need them. by

Wish it was a little bigger. But it puts off good heat !

you need to be very close to it to feel the warmth, maybe it will be ok for cooking.It has a pin you need to pull to get it to ignight and the pin is very thin tin. could be easily broken.

It's so small it won't even heat one room.

I ran it for the first time yesterday. I put it in a fireproof location "just in case" anything strange happens. And sat nearby watching it. Good thing I took these precautions. Well, after running for several minutes, it exploded. It was a small explosion, but still an explosion. Then there were blue and yellow flames rising several several inches above the ceramic plate. So I turned the knob to "off" and removed the butane canister. And there was a strong odor that reminded me of burning paraffin (candle wax).

It arrived broken. Very disappointed.
