We needed this to watch over my bedridden elderly mother with Dementia who lives with us, at night %26 while the wife %26 I are outside. It has a clear picture %26 the night vision looks just like the daytime lighting. Very pleased. We will be purchasing more for outdoors. So easy to set up %26 operate.

I really like this security camera and it works especially well with my starlink wifi. It was super easy to charge and set up. It works so good and alerts me when anyone pulls in or whatever is outside moving around. I love the alarm feature as well and how it instantly sends notifications to my iphone and my iwatch. It catches any motion and immediately starts recording it. We had a incident here just tonight and it alerted me and also caught what happened on video. I really think it was a great value for the money and will absolutely be buying a couple more.

Amazing security camera, and the subscription isn't needed as long as you have an sd card for storage. The picture is perfect. I use this to watch my chicken coop and property. I liked it so much I bought two. I highly recommend setup was fast. Battery lasts all month long before it needs a charge.. There is color and clack and white night vision. You can change range it picks up activity. You can set alarms and lights to come on during activity.Easy setup and install. They thought of everything so i didn't have to.

Well I couldn't afford much so I bought this little security camera for outside in the hall and I live in an apartment. It really comes in handy. You have to work with it a little bit to get the settings just right but once you do and the right angle and everything it's very good and I can recognize the people easily. I especially love that since I do have quite a few deliveries made, if I hear a noise outside my door, I just check it on my phone instead of having to get up and I can see when a package has been left and that's very good to me because I'm disabled a bit and you know sometimes I get a lot of traffic around here and sometimes when I get a delivery they don't always knock on the door and that means someone can steal your packages and that's happened before, but with that camera outside in the hall and I'm the only one in the building that has mine up hahaha, nobody dares steal my packages and I don't even have to put the alarm on. They're too afraid to get caught on camera. So when I think I hear somebody delivering something I just click on my app on my phone and it shows me if I have a package outside my door or not. I love that. But the main reason I got that camera was because some lady was knocking on my door at all hours of the night. I sure don't know why cuz I don't know that lady and never spoke to her, but she did this every night for 3 months and drove me crazy cuz once I get woke up I can't go back to sleep so I got that camera and she doesn't do that anymore. Thank you Tapo! I can finally get some sleep! Oh and I forgot. The range on either side of my door is wonderful! And Playback is fun to watch hahaha

Nice to have security without having to subscribe to a service. Picture quality is awesome and I use micro sd cards with this. I have three of these and they work flawlessly. If I decide to get a subscription the price is very reasonable. One camera does have a subscription. Very happy with the service. Can't go wrong with this product.

My next camera will be one that has continual filming. This one actually takes snapshots and there are shots that are missing. I know it. They're just gaps when I know that a car is pulled into the driveway, but it doesn't show up so I'm not sure what that's about. I really liked how easy it was to set up the software and make the connection. However, the camera did not record long enough to capture the entire event. I positioned the camera to monitor my condo's parking spot. For example, when I pulled my car into the spot, it started recording, but it stopped before I could even unload the groceries from the car. I had the sensitivity setting on high and set it to record for the max of 90 seconds after detecting motion with the PIR sensor. I unfortunately returned this security camera

According to Tapo warranty these cameras say waterproof outdoor cameras but Tapo doesn't cover storms. They sent me this message after I told them it rained and the cameras don't work anymore. After reviewing our warranty policy, we're very sorry, but we won't be able to cover this under warranty. According to TP-Link's terms, damage caused by external causes such as natural disaster (which includes storms) is explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. * https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/replacement-warranty/ I CANNOT GET A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT FROM WALMART OR TAPO. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I spent 3 hours to try to get this camera to work! over and over I tried to get it to pair to my phone and it just wouldn't do it. now I have to send it back which is a big hassle for me no car retired. I suggest unless you want to have a real good headache that day do not buy this product.
