Induction perfection because it heats quickly and HOLDS heat for a very long time. Note that directions suggest not using high heat with this pot and that advice is good - it doesn't need high heat because it's such a good heat conductor. Shape of the pot makes it perfect for spreading out while cooking - spaghetti, for boiling potatoes, etc. All-purpose excellence, imo.

This is the second pot I bought of this brand. The other is a stainless steel steamer and I've had it for years and use it often. I throw that one in the dishwasher every time I use it. Never any issues with cleaning or corrosion. This purchase, a Dutch Oven, is also really nice and big. Quality is excellent and very similar to my previous steamer. I bought this for making fastnachts (doughnuts). This being very wide and not as deep as a normal pot will work out nicely to add/remove and flip them without splashing oil around.

This pot is well made with thick bottom. it's a good weight as well. steinless steel is usually a ride or die situation when you buy online, but this one turned out great, and I kept it. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

I truly like this pot. I use it for all kinds of cooking, even deep fry. I like that it's not deep but wide enough to cook for a lot and it's super sturdy. It's a little expensive but you won't regret it.

Really great heavy duty stainless pot. Wish it had a vent hole at the top of the lid to prevent bubbling around rim. But still works well and it was the exact size I needed at a good price and good quality

Because I am only 4'10" tall, I needed a large pot where I wouldn't,t have to stand on my tippy toes to see in the pot and stir. The pot is nice and large enough to cook for a crowd.

This pot is a perfect size for cooking large amounts of soup, stews and large family dinners. The pot is good quality not lightweight but not too heavy either. I enjoy cooking with this pot.

Love this stock pot. The thick bottom conducts heat evenly. The handles and lid have protective grips to prevent burns. It washes up nicely without excessive scrubbing. Would definitely buy this again.

Love this pot! I use it to roast meat or veggies on the stove. It has a very heavy duty base, and it cooks evenly and with great results. The size is perfect for most anything you want to cook slowly. It is also wonderful for soups too. Well worth the price!

This pot is perfect in width, height, and volume for use as a stock pot from a wheelchair. Was much easier than my previous eight quart pot for making an easy tortilla soup, while using fresh chicken and vegetables. The price is a bargain, but the pot is not oven safe as a more expensive stainless steel pot might be. The user instructions caution against using over high heat. Also cautions against storing food in the pot to avoid pitting. Made in Brazil. But it allows easy access for sweating vegetables and browning meat; the volume is great for soups and stews for a crowd, or stocking up.
