All the reviews are correct - but at $5 a bottle its a pretty good deal. At the same time this product listing is WAY off. Here's the deal: plastic bottle not glass as pictured, Tunisian olive oil, not Chilean as shown, it is Tres Pontes brand and it looks like they use any country's olive oil they can access so next time you buy it could be another country altogether.. It is pretty light olive oil, flavor is good, not bad, but not great. I use it for cooking, not salads.
The oil arrived in a small plastic bottle but you would think it's a glass bottle in the advertised picture. Then the bottle says it's a blend of oils but not what kind. It smells ok but not great. Have not used it yet so maybe my stars will increase.
It would have been nice if they sent the right Olive Oil, this one is same brand, but it does not say that it's from CHILE, different bottle %26 label, its Organic so that's a plus. Just annoyed because I paid for the other one. This says from the Mediterranean farm, which is in PA. the USA.
Walmart picture and description is incorrect. Received a plastic bottle containing oil from 5 countries. If you look up the brand it is accurate on site so Walmart fully in the wrong. I purchased for $5 so not completely upset it is usable oil of cooking. Would not spend more than that when you can get single origin pure oil from another brand
This olive oil IS NOT from Chile as advertised in Walmart page. Product is from "Mediterranean Blends" and comes in a TRANSPARENT CHEAP PLASTIC BOTTLE. Not a glass bottle. Picture and description in Walmart page is wrong. Not from Chile. Not a glass bottle. Cheap Mediterranean blend
took forever to get here, then never got here, they debt s replacement tho, but it is not the iyrm pictured. it is not in s green glass bottle or even a green pladtic bottle. it's in s cleat plastic bottle and not even shaped like the one in the picture. ive order it several times and each time it comes in the same clear plastic bottle. deceiving.
Recieved palstic bottles with a blended "premium" olive oil - none of it sourced from Chile as description claims. The company's website lists Chile as sole source for all its products - seems like false advertising, with intent to purposely mislead consumers. Nothing seems legit, so will be returning items - I dont plan on consuming items with conflicting descriptions.
This olive oil is falsly represented and is clearly a case of bait and switch and false advertising. The following is a copy of my correspondence that I sent to this company directly via their website: If I do not receive a prompt and acceptable reply from them, I will be notifying the Department of Consumer Fraud as well as other government agencies that work for consumers to control this type of deceptive business pratice. At this point, I doubt that this is actually even real "olive oil". My letter to this company is as follows: I recently purchased FIVE-17 OZ bottles of your extra virgin olive oil from walmart.com website. The olive oil was described and represented as being single sourced farm in Chile using a blend of quality olives. "Três Pontas 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 17 Fl Oz Ingredients 100% Extra Virgin Olive 08 Cold Pressed From Arbequina, Arbosana, Frantoio, Leccino And Coratina Olives About this item Premium, High Quality Olive Oil from Chile Single Source, Single Farm Smooth Taste with an Acidity Level of 0.16 QR Code on Packing Allows You to View a Satellite Picture of Our Farm Practice Sustainable Farming What I received was a different olive oil than what was described on the website. The bottles I received were plastic, but in the description, it stated the bottles were glass. The variations of the different types of olives used in the bottles that I received were not stated on the bottle and therefore unknown. According to the label on the bottles that I received, it was printed the oil was a "blend of premium quality oils from Greece, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, U.S. and Canada", which is quite different what I received. According to the website and the printed description on the label, the olive oil was represented as "a single sourced olive oil from Chili". This appears to be a blatant case of false advertising, misrepresentation as well as bait and switch. It appears that this is an ongoing practice of your company, since many people had complained on the customer reviews and stated they had ordered the single sourced olive oil in the glass bottle and received the cheaper oil in the plastic bottle. I am requesting an explanation and a remedy to this issue and will look forward to your prompt response.
Complete fraud, and I stupidly did not read the reviews before ordering two bottles of this. WM should be ashamed of itself, with such a lengthy listing of 1 stars (only because we had to star it at all), and yet still sending this out. Plastic bottle, nothing at all like image or description - obvious bait and switch. I am disabled and it is not worth the hassle of returning, but I will proceed with more caution in other purchases on here - unless I decide to go elsewhere, completely. Too much of this on the site, lately.
This product is not show as on the picture or the product descriptions. - It's not glass on the picture but plastic bottle . - This is not extra virgin olive oil
