Comprehensible instructions, relatively durable construction for MDF, external vinyl covering appears to have decent scuff and scratch resistance, safety features prevent accidental tipping with multiple drawers opened. Take care of it by moving gingerly, I think it will have a longer service life than its meager price implies. Initial impression: a decent value.

For the most part, it's easy to assemble. Just make sure not to over tighten the screws as they will break through the particle wood. Had that happen while attaching the bottom metal leg things. You will need two people to attach the sides as they are super heavy to lift for one person. Other than that it looks great once it's assembled!

Super shallow drawers, nearly traumatizing to assemble. Tip for future survivors trying to build this thing~ when you are putting the %232 boards on, there are 4 bigger and 2 thinner. I didn't realize the size difference until halfway through which caused me to take it apart and start over. They could have atleast shipped it with the glides attached and better labeling Drawers won't hold much, probably best suited for small children's clothes.

Pretty good item overall just difficult to build in compared to other furniture items I've put together. Drawers were a bit tricky to put together and insert as well

It's really flimsy and doesn't sit even on carpet. I will have to find something to put under the front of the dresser and closing the drawers since the back is flimsy wood they bounce back, not recommended and have to completely take apart just to get a refund to send back.

Absolute junk. Finish arrived with chips on it. 1 drawer glide was broken and 1 was missing. On the assembly directions, it says to reach out to them and they will send the missing parts. I did that, they asked for my order %23 and then quit responding. So now I have to waste my time completely taking apart this hunk of junk just so I can get my money back. They also sent it with directions and hardware for a futon...a completely different type of furniture all together!

I was very excited about this dresser because it looks nice and matched the rest of our furniture. Unfortunately we were missing 2 of the 6 parts that were needed for the drawers. When we asked for the missing pieces, we were told to reach out to the 3rd party who sold us the dresser. I understand Walmart has many different companies they work with and I was okay with that. I had no problem reaching out to them. However, it took them over a week to respond. After several email exchanges, we were told we would only get 70% of our refund back because we had already assembled half of the dresser before realizing we were missing parts. I thought it was ridiculous and very unfair to penalize us for their mistake. Eventually after reaching out to Walmart customer service, I got a 100% full refund. We also had issues with the quality of wood used in this product. When we were putting in the screws (like the directions said), the wood was starting to split. Unfortunately I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This might be a decent dresser if it came with all of the parts and there weren't parts damaged. I received the dresser and went to putting it together. All was well until I was almost done with the drawers. I realized I was a part short (a drawer back) and then two drawer sides were cracked. So I'm sure this product is great when all of the pieces come together and undamaged. Now I have a dresser out together missing a drawer and cannot get a response by phone or email where they ask you to contact. So don't waste your money. I wish I wouldn't have.

On June 23rd I purchased the Truman dresser from Walmart as well as an $80 installation service. I am honestly in shock at how terrible my experience has been. First my package was intended to arrive on Friday, but it was delayed 3 days so it arrived on Monday around 3pm. When the third party service angi “professional” arrived on Monday 7am to build my dresser I did not have he marked the job as complete when it was not. I was not aware of this third party service angi and honestly they're making this even worse. I was able to reschedule for next Friday at 8am, nobody showed up so I decided to check my email only to see an email one hour before my scheduled appointment that there has been a last minute reschedule. I was dissatisfied already but to make matters worse they had took it upon themselves to reschedule an appointment for Monday 4pm and of course for the second time nobody showed up! But this time I receive no warning not even an email. This whole situation has been beyond frustrating and I'm regretting this purchase as a whole.

Next time maybe send the complete package. And as a tip put the screws in a bag instead of thrown in the box. Have fun to whoever is receiving the return
