This was easy to set up and is easy to use. The one detail I thought was extra nice and wish more unassembled packages would do is put all the lug nuts and washers on their predetermined screws. Seeing how they are assembled before applying and not having to hunt for each single piece in the package is helpful and timesaving and made assembly on this unit very much easier. Though I have mine on carpeting, there is sufficient anti-skid feet on all 4 corners to prevent sliding if placed on bare floors. I do wish the seat were a little bigger. (It is 12" by 8"). The handlebars are 23.5 inches across which gave me plenty of options for different hand positions to work my arm muscles and prevent fatigue. I would think this long width would give a wider-shouldered person more comfort during their exercise as well. The resistance mechanism allows for 12 different strengths. And the dial to change that is on the front so easy to locate and very easy to adjust. Since I cannot get the velcro feet straps even close to tight enough on my size 8 feet, I will assume the pedals were designed to be used with shoes. I have had no issues using the machine barefoot, tho. This appears to be a durable, well-designed piece of home equipment so I am not surprised that one cannot lean back to their full "aft" position like on a commercial gym machine. All in all, I would highly recommend this especially for the price (@ $100). It's not the best product on the market but perfect for beginners and for that price. It's very light yet sturdy while being used. Assembly was really easy I think I spend more time unpacking everything than actually putting it together. The single hydraulic system makes for an equal workout. Been using it every day since I e got it and still loving it.

I was looking for a row machine that didnt break the bank. This is it! I read a reviewers comment that the rowing motion is front to back vs. true outward style rowing and this is true. Your basically pulling the handlebar back towards you as you push off with your feet. Having said that its still a great workout on a sturdy machine which is what I wanted. Whether my arms swing out on a row or not!

I wanted something sturdy and light weight. It took less than a half hour to assemble alone. It has 12 difficult levels. The computer has 4 or 5 options to watch as you row. It's a sturdy and quiet cartridge. I have in an upstairs bedroom and know I can easily put it away if guests stay over.

Great rowing machine for home. My 11 year old actually put most of it together with me reading the instructions. It works as described. We can feel it working several muscles all over. We're enjoying it right now as we have only had it less than two weeks. I definitely recommend this especially if you can't make it to the gym.

The instruction book is nit very good so i used the pictures to put the equipment together! I is slimline not bulky and can be moved easily! I see great muscle tone in my legs after a few days! I watched a video that states using the legs to push instead of arms to pull help not hurt shoulder muscles! The price was great and use is brilliant.. nice cream color! It has several levels of resistance %26 I prefer light resistance so not to injure muscles ..

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Worth every penny. Machine is so quiet too. Nobody knows I'm even up at 5 am using it. Seriously. My son put it together for me in minutes. Hardware all included. Easy to lift actually. It's got good adjustable tension. Great buy I couldn't believe it. Still can't. Again, Walmart comes through shining. Thank you Walmart I love it...

The rower is a fantastic value. Assembly was easy and completed in less that 30 minutes. It is well constructed and should provide usage for many years. I would highly recommend this product for any prospective buyer.

I've had many rowers. This is good, as long as you know you're buying a "portable" machine. However, for anyone over 5' 8" (my size), it is (for me) not that great for an upper-body workout...the handlebar is about 3" too short. Instead of pulling into my chest area, it pulls into my crotch. I use it primarily for back stretching and strength, and for that, it's very good. It is easy to put together with good parts. Seat is just "okay." Monitor didn't work properly at all. But it is well built, quiet, slides well, and does what I want it to do. Lacking the left and right support bars of a larger machine, it frees space for my feet when I get up, which is important if you're an old geezer like me with poor balance. All in all, I would recommend this for a portable rowing machine.

Just received it and went to assemble it and the first piece it said to attach was missing the 2 screws needed to attach it so now Im sitting here with all these pieces all over my floor and are going to have to pack everything back up to return it 😩
