I have to make my well-known Tex-Mex brisket tacos family, friends, neighbors, and university professors. They are popular due to their taste conveying heightened levels of passion and art. First, I cook low and slow a brisket on the grill. I use this product to add another level of taste in the marinade and rub. While the meat cooks, I grill three to five hundred tortillas, brushing them with a mixture of peppercorn, fajita and this sauce. When the meat falls apart, I dish it into the grilled marinated tortillas resh with grilled peppers, zucchini and heirloom garlic from local farms. Finally, I them off with limes and my homemade salsa.
I was so excited when I found this on your shelves. It really tastes like the real deal. I am from Mexico, and finding flavors from my country that really match the real thing is hard. This has great flavor. I will buy it again.
I have tried so many seasoning packs for Al Pastore and this is the only one that taste like the real deal. I am so sad I can't find it on the shelves anywhere anymore. Please bring it back!!!
This is so flavorful and absolutely delicious!! My boyfriend loves tacos al Pastore and he has been searching everywhere to find seasoning to make them at home. Once I found this and tried it he's hooked, he loves when I make them at home!
Not much flavor, directions want you to use a very lean cut of pork, then after cooking in their spices and your juice for an hour turn to med-high heat to get a nice crust on the meat. It negatively changes the flavor by browning the meat, pineapple juice, and lime juice. The lean pork gets dry. Make your own.
This was ok. The meat didn't really have a great taste when you were eating it by itself but tasted a lot better once you put it in a tortilla with taco toppings. It does have enough seasoning in the pack for you to make it more than once but I don't think I'll be making it again. Definitely wasn't my favorite.
I wanted to like this seasoning but it wasnt it for me. I can see how it could be great for some as ive eaten al pastor tacos from places that it tastes similar to but I am looking for a slightly different taste.
These didn't turn out anything like they look on the package or what I eaten at taco stands. Way too much effort 2 hour cook time. Will not buy again.
Had no flavor just spice.
One of the worst taste ever, not authentic at all, iâve tasted real AL PASTOR in southern texas and mexico city this does not even match up, they can try to imitate the taste, but canât imitate the secret sauce and herbs.
