I have a small 5x8 above-ground pool that's only 2.5' deep, and this pole is the perfect size for scooping debris and bugs from it. It has a short aluminum pole/handle and doesn't telescope, so keep that in mind. The net and rim are excellent quality. The rim is a type of rubber, which works a lot better scraping something off the bottom than the typical hard-plastic rim. Seriously, I don't have a single thing I'd like to see changed about this net. It's perfect for the function it was designed for.

The leaf skimmer works very well. Has a nice long handle so you can reach farther. Cleans pool nicely.

i liked the fact it would pick up stuff off top but handel really small and it just seem to break up stuff off bottom and stir it around

i recommend people buy the models with longer poles for pool use. this should be called a Spa item

Apparently, I didn't read all the details to know that the handle was only 2 foot long. I was able to attach it to my existing pole and use it that way. The scoop is not as sturdy as the the one I originally had.

Missing a piece of the handle. Useless.
