Venus Fly Trap Plant - CARNIVOROUS - Dionaea - 2" Pot

one thing to remember .... ONLY used distilled water for your plant. it's going to come to you thirsty. Follow the directions that come with the plant. And you'll be okay. my plant was taken a mini vacation till it finally got to me. I did reach out to the seller and they were helpful. once it's out of their hands it's out of their hands. I would buy from the seller again but just remember. if you live in a hot area. That plant's going to come thirsty. my little "Gomez" did distilled water he loves it. I'm just thankful that seller gave me one because I had a 3-year-old Audra (Little shop of horror). now I have Gomez

The plant(s) were delivered in a 2" peat or sphagnum filled pot and arrived healthy and green, with many traps, some already turning red. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

For few years I wanted to get a Venus Fly Trap, but I hesitated because of the care of the plant. It is fun to have this "carnivorous plant", but before getting one, one has to learn about the care it takes, use only distilled/rainwater and the kind of soil and pot to plant it on. Once everything is set up, enjoy the Venus Fly Trap.

i guess i miss read the description on the very tiny Venus Fly Trapbi received. I was under the impression the plant would be approximately the same size as the photo on the internet. The plant is a tiny cutie!

I thought it would be a little bigger, but im in love with it . it came perfectly wrapped with its own lil heating pad to make sure it would stay safe ( alot of wrapping lol) i put it in a bigger pot idk if im supposed to or not since i just got it. and my kids fed it bugs 🐛 that they found outside lol bc they said it was hungery. super fast shipping o ly took like 2-3 days from ordering it to get to me. I'm going to do more research on this plant, but to say the least, i love it and will be buying more . i added a picture of the pot that it came in next to the one i planted it in for now.

It was very good packaging wrapped well. The plant was smaller than I thought it would be, but it was very cute and little it was not able to Close its traps because it was like too many like two little growth and then I had lots of growth with like baby plants and but none of the traps were closing

I was really excited to receive my Venus Fly Trap plants, but unfortunately several arrived dead or unhealthy. The packaging seemed fine, but the quality of the live plants was inconsistent, and I ended up returning the order. It’s disappointing because Venus Fly Traps are such unique and fascinating plants, and I had high hopes. If the quality were better, this could be a great purchase, but my experience left me frustrated and unable to enjoy the plants at all.

says size of container thou they mail out seedling size like the sun dew,venus fly trap. I was looking for when the plant would needed to go up a size container,this small will take a very long time,I felt this was not even was worth the money,I found this plant should of not. een sent,my exaltation was a lot higher,I barely can see this plant,I needed a magnifying glass.I was Soo disappointed ☹️. buyers. beware I should of asked them first how small the plant that Hirts is selling ,

The seller says no returns or refund for damages in shipping and I UNDERSTAND WHY! The plant was not well packaged at all and is placeed in your mail box in my case upside down. The plant wasnt in the pot at all. All of the limbs were broken off or severely damanged which tells me it had been handled roughly during mail. There was no "handle w care" " this side up" or "live plant" which would of made the postal service to know to handle it properly. Or at least package it better to prevent these issues from happening. They "say the broken limbs will grow back " but no such ĺuck w the one I received. Ended up thrown it in the trash when it began to rot ! So to anyone consider buy this plant save your monèy and DONT BUY FROM THIS SELLER

i ordered a venus flytrap and received a common swamp pitcher plant there is a distinct. difference in the two and anyone with any. plant experience would know the difference....highly disappointed in this walmart seller..one star. ..because i couldnt give anything lower
